Thanks, I've been trying to figure out how to find the games in Canada. DAZN owns the streaming rights but their service is apparently terrible with frequent technical outages.
Last year a long list of clubs did not participate in the iFollow service (Accrington Stanley, Aston Villa, Birmingham City, Bristol City, Charlton Athletic, Derby County, Fulham, Hull City, Forest Green Rovers, Middlesbrough, QPR, Sunderland and Wolverhampton Wanderers). Be interesting to see if/ how Stoke make their games available...

If any clever people on here know how to access this from the UK using a VPN could you please give a step by step guide on here. Admin, may be worth pinning until more info gets added as we get closer to kick off.

I’ve contacted the club twice to see if we’re going to sign up for this (I massively doubt it) without any response. The EFL themselves don’t know. Ange has kindly said she’ll bring it up through the supporters council, so we’ll see.

Surely all clubs should be forced to provide the service if people are willing to pay and subscribe legally. They will only start bleating if they dont and people circumnavigate the system.....

In addition to ifollow clubs can arrange to show their games on their own websites.

To be honest, depression in Nevada is made easier because of the sun and Tecate. Not sure I can cope with watching a 'Sunderland' next season

It looks like ESPN shows a few matches each week on their streaming service for subscribers. Hoping Stoke go with iFollow myself..

No doubt they will try and be cute and do their own thing on site, which wont work at all. I cant even login anymore

Ange has kindly said she’ll bring it up through the supporters council, so we’ll see. Got a reply. It's complicated apparently: "The Club are looking into this, and meetings are scheduled to discuss our options for broadcasting matches in the EFL moving forward.
Broadcasting of EFL matches is complicated and what we can and can’t stream seems to change every season.
I can assure you though that we are looking at every option and these meetings will give us a much clearer view of what’s involved and available to us.
More information will be available over the coming weeks."

If a game is televised in the host country it doesn't go in ifollow or the club website. What do you mean by "host country"? The wording is actually as follows.. with iFollow showing every EFL league match live unless that match has been selected by the EFL’s overseas broadcast partnersDoes that mean that if a game has been approved for TV coverage anywhere in the world then it doesn't go on iFollow at all? If that's the case then even if we opt in to this service, there's going to be a huge number of games that won't be shown. Look at this list of unavailable games from last season. Villa and Leeds are on it 24 times each That's half the season! However... This page has a "search by region" option for unavailable games, which suggests access varies depending on where you are. Clear as mud so far....

It means if a team are on Sky as Leeds and Villa were (lots!) last season, then IFollow do not show that particular game. So why "EFL’s overseas broadcast partners"? Because often when there is a full programme of fixtures one of the 3pm kick offs will be televised live across the world. EG If it's live in Chile you won't get it on ifollow.

^ and I suppose if ESPN+ or Bien or whatever other streaming company has the rights to a specific game, it won't happen on the others. I'm fairly resigned to the notion (probably fact) that no matter what service(s) I decide to get, is that I'll miss the majority of games next season and so will have to resort to this board or Twitter for game updates. And, I would imagine both teams need to be in agreement regarding broadcast rights, etc. as well.

I'm still not really clear on all the permutations and exactly how beneficial iFollow would be in terms of live games. If we even opt in to it of course.
