The championship is rapidly becoming a two tier system like the Prem where the richer clubs( and I'll include Stoke in this) will dominate and yo-yo between the two leagues. The days of clubs the size of Bournemouth and Brighton reaching the Prem are numbered I'm afraid.

I know what you're saying but as long as you've got some financial clout and you're not a basket case club, coupled with the parachute payments,it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Not so sure...if a small club like Bournemouth can get a billionaire Russian owner to back them, why not another small club? Maybe someone like Fleetwood (very ambitious owner).

Money rules football these days. Whether others see us as that, this summer already makes clear that we are one of the monied elite of the game, able to tempt a manager and, hopefully, players, from the clubs of the tier below.
I make a confident prediction that it will not be 23 years before we go up again, and that we will be back up within our 3 year parachute payment period.

It's concerning that it's going to get more and more expensive to get out of here and we need a rebuild.

Which means it is get up within 3 years or sink back into the middle tier of ex-Premier League teams: Sheff Wed and Sheff Utd, Norwich, Ipswich, Blackburn, Bolton, Wigan, Birmingham, Derby, Charlton, etc., who all failed to achieve a swift return and now look settled into the Championship (or worse!) for the long haul, unless they happen upon a great mix of manager and players (Cardiff) or secure a huge injection of funds (Wolves).

Yup absolute bollocks to say small clubs can't be financed to the Premier League all you need is an investor who's willing to put large amounts of money into any club they choose our owners are very very rich but they don't want to put money into the club. They're far wealthier than Demin at Bournemouth for instance.

Hopefully next season is not the one when Leeds finally get their shit together. Apparently the new investor is putting in £10 million for players....that would buy two-thirds of Chris Wood. It suggests that the main shareholder/owner is not that wealthy.

There was a young woman from Leeds, Who swallowed a packet of seeds, Within half an hour, Her arse was in flower, And her fanny was covered in weeds.

I remember them under Revie passing in little triangles like a Kraft cheese advert with those stupid number tags on their socks. I remember Billy Bremners shocked face as I questioned his parentage during the famous 3-2 win.

leeds are a premier club in all but name. they have been shafted by directors/managers/owners for a long time. they will get their shit together sometime[makes it harder for us!! ffs] once they get their act together they are capable of doing what wolves have done. they will have 30,000+ at home games sell out away followings more money coming in from sponsorship, merchandise. we have to face facts they are and allways will be a bigger club than us.
