It is highly likely to result in prosecution for the culprits. Deservedly so in my opinion.

Diouf was verbally and racially abused along with I hope he dies Then that’s just as bad and has no place in the game. People who do such things have no place in the game. I wasn’t aware if I’m honest so certainly not saying it’s ok if it’s one of our players. The club are certainly better without them if they can be ID. I think unlike us though the Liverpool fans are usually pictured as so amazing and can do no wrong. The media aren’t interested as they are a media darling Point proven was their total disinterest in Arsenal fans singing we wish you were dead to Shawcross and going to town on us singing he walks with a limp to a fully fit Ramsey

I like the words from the learned Professor in that article: "Cooper, professor of psychology and health at Manchester Business School, told the BBC: “The only way he can get over this is by putting it behind him and carrying on."Pure academic genius!

I don't think we can claim the high ground over this. If Social Media shows us anything it is that ALL large groups contain a minority whose behaviour shames humanity and that includes all football clubs and most other groups as well. If threats and abuse break the law then they SHOULD result in prosecutions. But, let's be honest, I doubt we have the money or the will to bring all such cases to court and the chance of getting costs from many of the abusers is NIL. We have to face up to the fact that a vocal minority of people are simply sick in the way they behave. I’m sure all of these vile abusers cannot be prosecuted but a few should be and it should be big news that they get prosecuted. They should also be harshly dealt with, like a year in the slammer, and that should be highly publicised too. That would make people a little bit more careful about what they post on Social Media in the future I reckon. BM

This compitition needs a name change. Liverpool haven't won the League since mens perms were in fashion, yet they could have been European Champions. Mind you, those Liverpool teams had some world class perms. They were also very, very good sides. It is hard to believe how thoroughly they dominated League Division One for over a decade. On the wider point, the extension of qualification has taken a lot of the lustre out of the tournament. In the "olden" days, teams might wait years to get another chance to comepete. These days, if any of the top 5 are knocked out, it is disappointing - but their place in next year's competetion (and every following year) is virtually guaranteed. Oh and put it back on Wednesday night, please. On Council telly. With Barry Davies commentating. And no numpty ex professional pundit.

Been saying for years if we get 4 spots, they should go to 1st and 2nd and the remaining 2 to the cup winners

An Egyptian lawyer has launched a €1 billion (£873m/$1.2bn) lawsuit against Sergio Ramos after Liverpool and Egypt star Mohamed Salah was injured in a challenge with the Real Madrid captain during Saturday's Champions League final. In an appearance on Egyptian television channel Sada El-Balad, Wahba announced he had filed a complaint to FIFA and accused Ramos of a deliberate act and inflicting "physical and psychological harm" upon a nation and its most celebrated footballer. "Ramos intentionally injured Mo Salah and should be punished about his actions," he claimed. "I've filed a lawsuit and a complaint to FIFA. "I'll ask for compensation, which could exceed €1 billion, for the physical and psychological harm that Ramos gave Salah and the Egyptian people." uk.sports.yahoo.com/news/egyptian-lawyer-files-1-billion-125700944.html

Liverpool is a one man team, Ramos finished the game. Sadio Mane dislikes this. Mane, Firminho, VVD, Milner and Robertson are good players but not good enough to qualify for CL final, Klopp made a system that suits Salah and this why they succeeded as a team and Salah is shining more than he was in Roma. First 30 minutes, LPool played high pressing perfectly, Real Madrid looked like a school team who cant pass the ball, and Liverpool was much more organized and dangerous, after Salah injury Liverpool changed their plans and started to defend deeply at the same time RM was relaxed there will not be counter attacks and started to defend from a high line so it was obvious they RM is going to score with Karius mistakes or without it.

Real Madrid barely function without him. I watched for a game recently without him, it was Varane and Nacho something like that and they were f..ked, Modric and Ramos are the most important 2 players for RM, Modric is a pure class footballer, Ramos is a pure shit, Ronaldo is done he cant be the same player when he is 35 years old next season.

He will be an average player any where without the help of top players like what he has currently in RM. I cant remember he did any thing special except the Juve game.
