Even though I had 1X on Real Madrid-Lpool I feel sorry for Lpool.
It was a brutal game.
Ramos is a shitbag. First he completely unattacked put an elbow at Karius before their 1-0 goal. It should have been a red.
Ramos also dislocated Salah's shoulder. No doubt. First there was a contact, He took the arm, both fell and he pulled Salah's arm during their fall. He must have practised those situations a lot. Red again.
Some Lpool player should have been given a red as well. Elbow at one point.
Not a great game. Very bad final. Soon to be forgotten.

This picture needs to be on the front of every newspaper and website, to illustrate just what Real and Ramos game-plan was. ‘You won the cup, but we know how you won it...’ But Salah should not have tried to steal a yard on Ramos by putting his arm in front of the defender. Salah doesn’t have the strength for this and it was easy for Ramos to put an arm lock and brig him down whils making it look like an accident. Schoolboy error from Salah in my book. Totally normal play from Salah - cynical cheating from Ramos who is renowned for these despicable actions. Ramos deserves a life ban. So sad for Salah and Egypt Sad too for football when supposed top players resort to deliberately taking out one of the opposition Cheats have prospered

I genuinely fucking hate Ramos. Repugnant piece of shit. My distain for Ramos comes from years of watching him go down like a cheap tart and crying to the ref. Graduated with honour from the school of Madrid. Absolute despicable cunt. Could care less about Prince Salah.

Deliberate my arse. H

Suarez a few years ago and his 'spanish penalties' to Salah taking a swing at BMI this season and getting away with it.

Not read all this thread so dont know if it has been mentioned, but how ineffective and anonymous Christano Ronaldo was yesterday. He did absolutely nothing in that game. He looks done to me and if he does move to the Prem next season might well struggle.

What does the implosion of LFC say about a team consisting of just one good player who got injured? British football lives in the dream that 1966 will happen again and the Premier League will be a beacon for world football.
If Liverpool finished only 3 places behind Man City what doe that say about all the clubs outside the top 4? Stoke exceeded all expectations with successive top half finishes and hopes of a place in Europe. Brendan Hughes at Celtic has performed "miracles" with successive SPL titles with players who would struggle in most Championship sides nowadays so what is the magic potion?
Stoke City are being touted as one of next seasons automatic promotion candidates but when that happens they will be candidates for immediate relegation again.
There is something very wrong with British football when a nothing club like Fulham will become £180m richer by reaching promotion via the play-offs. If they are not very rich clubs to start with most of that money will be spent on transfer and agents fees for very average players. If its true that tossers like Berahino earn £70,000 and most of the 25 squad players each command similar wage that would work out at £100m in wages alone. Add onto the typical £50m transfer an agents fee of 25% and it would appear that the hierarchy of a club has to be extremely wealthy for the club to survive.
Let us say that Man City have 25 x £50m players in their squad agents fees alone would be over £300m.
No wonder Rowett chose Stoke City as a great platform for his future with the Coates wealth behind him. And god help Stoke City if they pulled the plug.

If the same thing that happened to Salah happened to Ramos then nobody would bat an eye. People just love Salah because he's scored a few goals and always has a smile on his face. But because it's Ramos people just jump to the conclusion that he's committed murder to their favorite footballer. And that my friends is the disgusting prejudice that humans contain.

I haven’t seen this posted elsewhere but sorry if it has been.
Has anybody else seen the abuse that Loris Karius is coming in for on Twitter? To an extent yes he should be accountable for the blunders he made and should get SOME stick. However the death threats he is being sent and so-called Liverpool fans saying they hope his whole family dies and that his son gets cancer... wow. Just wow.
I can’t post a screenshot of it on here but if you search ‘@loriskarius dies’ hopefully someone can share.
My questions:
- what should be done to people who say shit like that? - have we ever, as supporters, been that moronic and behaved so disgusting in public?

They should be ashamed as if the poor bloke doesn’t feel bad enough. They’re made out to be salt of the earth yet they have a huge number of low life’s supporting them. They need to grow up the poor guy didn’t do it deliberately. This could have a huge affect on his mental health. The unfortunate thing is there’s way to many of them to deal with them all plus I’d imagine a fair few are overseas.

I don't think we can claim the high ground over this. If Social Media shows us anything it is that ALL large groups contain a minority whose behaviour shames humanity and that includes all football clubs and most other groups as well. If threats and abuse break the law then they SHOULD result in prosecutions. But, let's be honest, I doubt we have the money or the will to bring all such cases to court and the chance of getting costs from many of the abusers is NIL. We have to face up to the fact that a vocal minority of people are simply sick in the way they behave.

Well,Alan Ball reckoned his family/he and his wife were spat at whilst out shopping, and (using the 'Royal we' here,) did try to storm the Directors' Box to attack our own now beloved/not so beloved depending on which way the wind's blowing, Chairman Peter Coates during his first spell. Look at some of the threads/comments this season alone,( Fuck off Coates etc.etc.) As Wezza said our fanbase contains its fair share of muppets too....

I hope for the lad's sake,he follows the Beckham model (had a scintillating season for Man Utd,after the sending off in the World Cup which saw him roundly villified etc.) Whether it's with the 'Dippers or not,I'm always a sucker for a good tale of sporting redemption. "Sometimes the best teachers we have are the mistakes we make." Can't remember who said it,but it's a truism, imho.

Diouf was verbally and racially abused along with I hope he dies Then that’s just as bad and has no place in the game. People who do such things have no place in the game. I wasn’t aware if I’m honest so certainly not saying it’s ok if it’s one of our players. The club are certainly better without them if they can be ID. I think unlike us though the Liverpool fans are usually pictured as so amazing and can do no wrong.
