Superb news yesterday.
Key date for me now is when do the players return?
Does anyone know?

They've got the friendly in Germany on 13th July, haven't they?
So you'd think first week of July (Monday 2nd?) would be favourite.

Dunno but the fixtures are announced on the day of the summer solstice, Thursday the 21st of June 2018 from 9am.
Plenty of daylight hours to ponder the permutations!

Apart from the friendly, have we sorted out our preseason program yet?

Apart from the friendly, have we sorted out our preseason program yet? I think Gary Rowett always likes to take the lads to his home town of Bromsgrove and play a fixture at nearby Redditch. It's character building and keeps them firmly grounded!

Sure I read this hadnt been confirmed & had only been mentioned by the German team. If Lambert was making early plans then everything could be subject to change. On the subject of reporting back, a Blues fan family member of mine has stated that under Rowett we'll be one of the fittest teams in the league. Guessing this coming pre season maybe a different ball game to what did or likely didn't happen last pre season!

Just had a quick look, and quite a few Championship teams have announced June 25th as their return date.

Also, if no-one is sold pre World Cup then Butland, Diouf, Badou, Sobhi and Shaqiri plus anyone I’ve missed will all be returning late I’d expect.
