That's brilliant. One of the greatest players ever quietly reflecting. A vital cog in one of the greatest football teams ever realising this was the end.

It's 2030.
Bojan sits out on the Bojan365 stadium turf after a decade of supremacy at Stoke City.
Gary Rowett took a chance threw him into the Championship where he top scored in his first season, in his second he fired into the Champions League after winning the PL with 40 goals.
Rowett says his side will miss him terribly as they bid for there 10th successive PL and CL title.

During Spain's dominance a few years back Iniesta was the one player I loved watching. One of the greats for sure.

For me the best, weird to say but I think he was underrated compared to the other two because he wasn't a striker (and I don't mean Diouf and Berahino). He always looked like he had more time than anyone. MOM in a World Cup Final, Champions League Final and a Euro Final. Says it all really.

The standing ovation he received from Espanyol fans the season after the world cup final and the Jarque tribute was one of the most powerful things I've ever seen in football.

Perhaps Iniesta did a dead bad fart in the dressing room and his ex colleagues told him to get out of there. And that's the real reason he's looking crestfallen.

Don't want to piss on your chips mate but we'd have to qualify for the CL too, so we will only be on 9.

Brilliant player, brilliant team player and his sheer ability to make the game seem easy and his longevity put him up there with the best. Should have had more recognition for what he achieved IMHO.

History will judge him
As one of the absolute greatest players of all time. Very hard to see how Barca will ever replace his style, influence and understated but absolute class.
Never flamboyant, did the simple thing, but did it way way better than anyone else

I know he could go anywhere in the world to 'wind down' his career.....but there are strong rumours that he's interested in moving to the A-League, because the lifestyle here is so attractive.
Let's hope this is true!!

Almost seemed embarrassed by all the fuss despite being one of the most talented footballers ever to walk the planet
Compare that to John Terry’s contrived and quite frankly cringeworthy exit against Sunderland after 26 minutes, laughable really......

After his final game and all the ensuing pomp and ceremony... some poignant & iconic photos here m.imgur.com/a/elY54Tn Along with Pirlo my two favourite midfielders of the last decade, yet somehow not as feted as the 'architect,' imho. He and Xavi were the soul of those peerless Barça and Spain sides, honed their game playing in the streets. An intuitive player, his reading of the game and spatial awareness were phenomenal. Those photos suggest to me he has an almost spiritual, soulful connect with the game/place.I hope he has a happy retirement and doesn't struggle to fill the void that will be left,as so many retiring sportsmen do.
