You obviously aren't a stoke supporter. Because I chose not to watch a Swansea v Southampton borefest? I don't feel like I've missed out I'll be honest...... I missed it as well so I suppose I'd better return my season ticket. I'll return my son's as well, irresponsible little bugger was playing Xbox

No, because you've made it clear that mark keeping southampton up doesn't bother you. You've got some very peculiar views, for such an educated man, on what classifies one as a Stoke supporter gifty

I'm no more or less annoyed by us going down at this precise moment because Southampton are safe.....

It really doesn’t matter though does it?, it’s best to think about what is the best outcome for the club in the long term, a poorer team coming down with us gives us a slightly better chance next season.

After listening to the Mark Hughes love in on 5 live at full time a breath of fresh air appeared when they spoke with Adrian Chiles. Like us on Sunday he was devastated but was complimentary about us.
Five Live questioning why the Coates family issued the earlier statement re when they should have sacked Hughes. Just reinforces how LMH is Teflon coated and this I’ve never been relegated bullshit really rankles tonight. I hate the twat more than ever now. Rant Over.

I said if he's not bothered about a manager relegating his club, to then jump ship when it goes tits up and save another team at the expenses of your team he's just relegated then he is not a stoke supporter.

I wish Admin would organise another ban for this tool. Apparently Mark Hughes jumped ship to Southampton and was not sacked at all. What a fucking whopper.

I try not to take pleasure in the misfortunes of other but I will find this very difficult if Soton get relegated. Also, I am fuming that he took us to the brink of the abyss, maintaining all along that no-one else could keep us up and then found a better job six weeks after getting fired. Mark Hughes is the perfect example of the Peter Principle, which states everyone is eventually promoted to their level of incompetence. There’s a few others I could mention at Stoke who fit the same description.

He didn't jump ship he was sacked, I dont know if he would have kept Stoke up but hard to see we would be any worse off than now. Two slight positives Southampton would be more competition for getting promotion than swansea or huddersfield and Hughes will bid for some of our players so may help us get more money for them.

To be fair to Hughes he can get results with decent players . We all know know this don't we ?
Tonight he brought on an ex Napoli striker with another 20m striker unused Lambert had an 18 year old kid . Not defending Lambert really just pointing out that if Lambert had inherited players like Tadic Austin Gabbiadini Redmond Long etc he would have kept us up I reckon

This board has been moaning for years about Scholes, Carthorse has been getting pelters since almost day one, neither of them have a clue (lets be honest our transfers kept going tits up before we even got promoted lest we forget the Watfor debacle, so whilst Mark Hughes isn’t on my Christmas card list (mainly due to not quitting when he knew he’d had enough last summer) he is down the list of the people I blame for this predicament. He will be remember by me (like Pulis) who gave us our best years in recent memory but outstayed his welcome by 12 months.
I like Southampton as a club, good fans, do things the right way and have been gutted selling to the big teams so I’m actually quite glad they are safe. Call me what you like and I’m sure you will.

He's acted like the cunt he is tonight fuelled by the Coates statement. What do you expect? He more than likely feels aggrieved at the sacking then being publicly hung out to dry and humiliated by the people who sacked him. I doubt there would be a bloke on the planet who wouldn't be on a mission to stick it right back at us. The joke is on us, not on him.
