My money is on Shaq being the first, probably a couple of weeks after the Swiss are knocked out of the world cup. He's prbably worth about £25m in todays market but if Scholes and Carthorse have anything to do with it we'll probably get £5m and a packet of fruit gums. Gouranga.

Yeah if he has the 14.something million euro release clause he will get snapped up pretty sharp before the WC even. Good business by todays standards.

Allen to Southampton. Assuming they stay up. Sparky adores him. It would be telling if he did business that quickly at Saints, in that Sparky was often pushed closer to the deadline day when spending serious money here, waiting for the "apples to drop" as it were: N'Diaye (31/1), Wimmer (29/8), Beharinho (20/1), Imbula (31/1)... though Joe Allen was an exception in July.

Well Shaq, Jack, Joe and Badou will be those of most interest to prospective purchasers. It doesn't matter a hoot who we would LIKE to get out of the door, that's not how it works. We'd like to keep Joe and Badou, l'm sure, but can we, realistically?
Them four if they all leave (plus the less valuable potential sales of Rama and Douff if the rumours are to be believed) could bring in about 80 million, less a bit for Brum's slice of Jack). The question is how much of that would the manager be allowed to te-invest? Over half surely. More, l'd hope. Which may play out badly for PL' s prospects this summer- this next transfer window will be absolutely crucial and dwarfs the size of any compensation we may need to pay PL.

Quite a few of the fans have already fucked off by the sounds of it.
I phoned up yesterday to move my season ticket and was told - "Pick any block, we will have something, there is loads of availability".
Landed a nice little seat right on the halfway line, silver lining and all.

Regarding the exodus, the sooner the better. Get shot of all the ageing slow coaches first. Please get us some players who can actually play! All the other so called prem players who don't want to help us get out of the championship can do one ASAP!

Don't have 25 man squads in the championship.
However there are rules over how many players have to be home grown.
Also got to have at least 1 player who has been training at the club for at least 3 years before their 21st birthday, e.g. Ngoy or Stanton.

Danny ings is going either Bournemouth or Rangers. Be astonished if he goes to Rangers - unless it's a loan - would surely mean a huge paycut for him.
