“Absolutely nothing to lose”. 18 months wages for a start. Watching/seeing his latest statements on Sky Sports makes me cringe. He quickly turns from “me” to “us/we”. He could score a 100 goals for us next season and I’ll not congratulate “1” whether it’s a worldly or notHe was a signed up member of a clique of players that due to their lack of professional, self respect and respect for others saw us relegated. You can’t even mention his name (and others) in the same discussion as Muniesa for proffesionalism and respect Then might me time to consider becoming a fan of another sport because if that's the case then football isn't for you. Grow up ffs. I’ve been a supporter since 1961. I’ve been a season ticket holder since 1974. I don’t want medals but football is my sport and especially SCFC. I have witnessed probably 100’s of players play for my “football “ team ranging from excellent, through to absolute rubbish. However I can’t recall a player; Costing millions of pounds, Receiving a salary in the 10’s of thousands of pounds for 18 months Having no respect for his Profession Having no respect for his employers Having no respect for his fellow professionals Having no respect his employers stakeholders I.e Sponsors, supporters etc. Football is my game. Grow up? Look in the mirror think, and engage your brain before talking or posting on what amounts to be principles of honesty, respect and endeavour Perhaps I’m to old for the new generation but who gives FF

Deserves a chance. The lad clearly has talent and can finish. Just needs to get his head right and some confidence Played completely wrongly by Hughes..and was very unlucky not to score for us (had a brilliant header saved by Mignolet v Liverpool at home season before one just gone) Mignolet had no right to get to it but when things aren’t going your way that happens. He actually makes very intelligent runs and has good movement but half the time our players just don’t pick up on it. No harm in giving him a chance, a couple goals and some confidence and he’ll be banging them in I reckon What has he done to deserve a chance anymore than say Vincent Pericard or Nile Ranger? To compare him to Nile Ranger is just bollocks. Nile Ranger is a bellend, a criminal and who shows no sign of changing. Saido is a lot of things, but he at least appears to be trying to sort his career out. Whether it is just words we will soon find out I guess but for now, the impression is he he has come to the realisation he needs to stop pissarsing about and sort himself out for the sake of his career.

They actually got plenty of game time. Saido has mainly had sub appearances and hasn’t once been used correctly. He needs to be played with someone. Absolutely nothing to lose by giving him a clean slate under Rowett and giving him the chance to prove us wrong. “Absolutely nothing to lose”. 18 months wages for a start. Based on what exactly, his most recent quote or the countless others where he's said the same thing over the last few years then carried on being a dick regardless? It's one thing giving people a second chance, but where do you draw the line re: chances? How many chances should a professional "athlete" who is being paid tens of thousands of pounds every week simply to stay fit have?

Yeah it’s a harsh criticism but let’s not forget Berahino has also failed a drugs test and been caught with a couple of prostitutes, so he’s hardly above the law is he? Do you not think Nile Ranger has said similar things about trying to sort his life out? Berahino is a striker who hasn’t scored in two and a half years. He therefore does not deserve a chance. If he knuckles down for 6 months, scores a few goals in the reserves and appears to have his head in the right place then then, and only then, could you say he ‘deserves’ a chance

One of our most experienced professionals told me that he was the ‘worst of the worst. A fucking disgrace.’ Apparently after the last game of the season he said something scummy about the club and had to leave very very quickly as one of the British players wanted to chin him. He is universally loathed by everyone at the club

He is universally loathed by everyone at the club That's so frustrating to hear. Like many of the players we have that have failed to work out he's had plenty of chances. Unlike others it's even easier to measure his performances because he's supposedly a goal scorer and he's not scored any. He'll still be collecting his wage and the only good news is that's now significantly less than it was last year.

I not so fickle as to forget the previous 18 months. He, by his conduct was a significant factor in our relegation. You're literally saying you won't celebrate if he scores a go. Absolutely pathetic My attitude reflects that of an absolutely pathetic individual who has masqueraded as a professional footballer on one hell of a wage for 18 months and who was a significant factor in our relegation. If you can be apologetic and forgiving for such that’s your choice. Mine happens to be exactly the opposite. So I’ll remain consistent in my criticism and remain “absolutely pathetic” if that’s OK

We have been relegated , which is fair
Now is the time to get rid of lightweighs , shirkers , cowards , players who hide from the ball , players who Dodge a 50 / 50 etc
It's time to get rid of the berahino's
And bring in some proper footballers

You do that, if he stays and scores for us you just sit there in silence while everyone else in the ground celebrates. You won't look stupid at all. I mean it's a load of bollocks anyway, you would celebrate. I also think he's been pathetic for what it's worth but if he scored for us I'd celebrate, as will everyone else.

If he went in where it hurts , won 50/ 50s , gave the opposition defenders the run around , hit the bar , hit the post and failed to score , stoke fans would give credit where it is due ,and wish him luck
Unfortunately , the problem is not that he is unlucky , the problem is that he is lazy
