Well those of us who had underlined the progressive and continuous decline since last season which could have lead to this outcome, can certainly hold their head high.
The bullies and know-it-alls who dismissed us as ‘knicker wetters’ certainly cannot

Heads up Ryan Bauer Pieters Allen Badou Indi Shame Jese Berahino Wimmer The others have been under par Is Ryan an automatic pick with everyone on here, when the truth is he as turned up to about 20% of games all season I think the last 2 games as blurred your vision re Pieters Allan chases down every ball he gives away Badou, has he really done enough to wet the appetite Bauer and Indi can walk away with pride intact

Heads up Ryan Bauer Pieters Allen Badou Indi Shame Jese Berahino Wimmer The others have been under par Pieters has had a more than decent end to the season, but for a long time over the course of it he was symptomatic for everything that was wrong in the early stages, i.e. under Hughes. Even under Lambert he didn't look secure at first. Badou is a nice lad, but he hasn't really done the kind of the thing that was needed when he arrived. He hasn't been the big buy to lift us out of our troubles. Shawcross hasn't been the captain to lead us, though I'll accept that this season has been one of his better in recent years. He's still got a job to do for us, but I'm hoping we'll be bringing in somebody who is a more obvious leader on the pitch.

Heads up
Ryan - Club legend, nuff said. Butland - not in his best form lately, but certainly not his fault we are down. Showed he still cared at the end too Grant - nothing to do with him, hopefully he can reproduce his previous form for us next year Indi - decent defender, shame about the injuries Zouma - a bit overrated, needs to improve certain aspects of his game, but I wouldn't blame him for this mess Eric - frustrates me massively, not good enough at this level, but there's no doubting his effort and commitment and he has defended brilliantly in the past two games Bauer - great signing, forced to play out of position, would be great if we kept hold of him Cameron - probably a bit out of his depth at this level now, but a good servant and I wouldn't hold him responsible for any of this Staffy - nothing to do with him, shame about the injury Allen - minus a couple of misplaced passes, he hasn't performed too badly, has put in an incredible shift in every game and I won't begrudge him when he inevitably leaves Shaqiri - has been in excellent form under Lambert, scored some great goals and can understand his frustration with others. Without him we would have gone a few weeks back Crouch - clearly past it now, but that is hardly his fault. Has been a fantastic signing and a top pro Badou - has looked a reasonably good signing, shame we didn't have him at the start of the season Campbell - has looked pretty awful, but thrown in at the deep end and not his fault we are where we are
Heads down
The Teflon Twins - should be fired immediately Mark Hughes - mostly his mess, poor signings, cannot organise a defence, too arrogant for his own good Coates - still think he has credit in the bank but has clearly made some wrong decisions and failed to invest enough over the last year or two Lambert - doesn't appear to have a plan, tactically inept, not his fault we are relegated but I am not overly impressed with him Adam - disgraceful lack of professionalism that has cost us massively Berahino - waste of talent Jese - waste of talent Johnson - how someone can make so many basic mistakes with that level of experiences baffles the mind Cheapo Moting - lack of effort Diouf - simply nowhere near good enough at this level, has missed big chances in big games and hard to feel sorry for someone who is paid so much yet is so woeful at the basics Ireland - just a bit of a waster Ramadan - not making the best of his talent Fletcher - just dog shit
