Yep, I have to say I like lambert in many ways but the record is not defendable. Has to go.......I’m hoping he sees the situation as untenable and resigns No chance of that. It'll be "I'd like the opportunity to take them back up. Judge me with my own players, blah blah." Another wasted season next year and I don't know how many I have left.

His record is clearly dreadful. I am not sure any manager has survived such a poor run. He's clearly the worst manager in the prem by some margin. Sadly he will be here again next season Coates has already said so.

This cunt relegated us, not Hughes.
We were only in the bottom three on goal difference when this twat turned up.

85th min before our first corner. 20 something % possession. No attacking pattern at all. 1 win in 14. Only scored twice in one of his 14 games.
No comment on the man from a personality perspective but he simply has to go, the guy does not know how to win a football match.

He has to go ! Coates cannot justify keeping Lambert. He's been a disastrous appointment.
If we keep him next season we could well be the next Sunderland. He just doesn't have a clue.
GET RID ASAP !

Absolutely disastrous appointment, 1 win in 14 including a number of winnable games. If we stick with him then it is massively worrying what is happening to our club. Correct. Over the next few days we should bombard the local media regards our thoughts, not only on the manager but the inept buffoons at boardroom level. It is the only way the club will take notice.

If PL had any self respect he would resign but he has none and won't so sack him today.

mate of mine wolves fan predicted we’d go down via lots of draws reconed as soon as we’re 1-0 up we’d try and defend the lead invite pressure on we’ll think he was right .

He has failed in every possible way. I hope for the sake of the club and the fans they get rid. The prospect of a Championship rebuild led by this colossal turkey is really fucking depressing. What a load of shite

Ultimately I don't blame him - he is a product of circumstance
I blame the short sighted, cheap skate, penny pinching fools that run out great football club
Coates bullshit statement the other day re no changes deserve even more contempt than he famous 'what's all the fuss about'

We needed someone to come on and get a hold of the ball to link the play, especially when Crouch went off. Yet, he didn't bring Ireland on... *sigh*

Well we certainly got what we paid for with Lambert, the clubs ambition was on the line and they showed it with his appointment as manager. The chairman and the board have a lot to answer for.

No other chairman in football would keep a manager on under these circumstances.
Let's see what Coates does...

I thought that we should take stock at the end of the season. If we went down, the nature of our relegation would say a lot.
I appreciate that he inherited a horror show, and he has managed to get them doing the very basics again. However, in the cold light of day his record has been almost as bad as it could have been, and his game management troubles me.
I think we need a good fresh start next year.

Or is it the players? I’d only keep: Shawcross BMI Bauer Allen Which just goes to show how little we have across the squad, especially the dire recruitment of “strikers” I would be very surprised to see Allen here next season. His boyhood club want him back and they look set to remain in the premier league.

How can people so high up be so incompetent
99% of this board would have gone no where near Lambert and yet the one dickhead who thinks he is decent is the one hiring the fucker

The board don’t realise the pressure they’re putting themselves under by keeping Lambert on. They need to get rid and give the supporters some hope. This bloke is going to forever linked with a failure to keep us up when he had ample opportunity.
I see no tactics, no plan, no model of what he’s looking to achieve when he puts a team out.
Please, please fuck him off.

Scholes and Cartwright also need to go immediately.
If Coates doesn't shift all these three then he should go.

As much blame as Hughes has to take, Lambert is equally culpable. What a negative, dour load of shit he had served up. We had every chance of staying up until his appointment. We will be saddled with him though thanks to Saint Peter.....fuckin depressing knowing there is no hope.

I’ve been patient but today was the last straw for me. Awful game management. We couldn’t keep the ball so why the hell wasnt Ireland playing. All we did was hoof it up for Crouchy. Why the hell did he start with 2 strikers who clearly have no understanding of each other. Why the hell did he bring on Campbell. There’s no point having 2 strikers if you’re not creating anything. That's a good point my friend. Palace came to counter attack, they didn't,they just dominated, Lambert was on the dole for a reason.
