I'm not sure if it's apathy or nerves or just an expectation of relegation but I expected a lot more in terms of support in the last few games.
We have a chance to stay up, it's a small one and still dependant on lot's of things outside of our control but come the first whistle on Saturday we need to try and make it as uncomfortable as possible for Palace.
We'll never hit the heights of the 1st season support but let's bloody give it a go.
It could be the last time for a while we're in the top flight let's give it a blast.
Come on you rip roaring Potters!

Have we ever really got anything going with a 12:30 kick off? Most people are not nearly drunk enough at that time.
I suppose the best bets to inflame the crowd at that time in the morning would be as follows
1. Erik Pieters coming together with Wilf Zaha in the first 5 minutes which results in Zaha throwing himself to the ground and Martin Atkinson pointing to the spot before dispatching Pieters for an early bath and joining in the celebrations for the converted penalty.
2.Palace fans ripping the piss out of us with a rendition of 'Bye, Bye, Bye Delilah' and other hilarious ditties. If that dork with the big base drum turns up I'll shove it up his jacksy myself!

So I can watch in my PJs, go back bed afterwards and cry myself back to sleep.

I reserve the right to call them a bunch of wankers if we go one down. What a load of crap. Everyone should back them to the final whistle. Anything can happen. This thread should tell the ones that are fully behind the club, and those that put their agendas higher.

I don't quite know what the fans should be doing that they aren't currently doing? If anything, the support at games has been better than this shower have deserved for much of the season.

It would be nice just for once if weâre chasing a winner for it not to empty early. Last chance saloon and all that.

Thankfully there's a massive difference between the supporters at the ground - which given the circumstances has been brilliant and have consistently put the team before their opinions - and some of the self appointed fonts of all knowledge on here - some of whom have done everything in their power to undermine the players, the manager(s), the owners, the backroom staff and pretty much everything that makes up the club in order to promote their own half arsed opinions.
I don't think the OP is criticising the fans - just doing what we all should be doing. Putting aside our half arsed opinions and getting behind the team. Which, apart from a few dishonourable exceptions, is what will happen.
And I'm not saying no-one has the right to an opinion and to express it. All I'm saying is that before expressing that opinion ask yourself what the impact will be - and that is one more voice not behind the team when they need it. However if you actually think expressing your opinion is more important as it will usher in a new dawn in the history of Stoke City football club you really are beyond help.

Ah, another of those "it's the fans' fault for not supporting the team enough" threads. Fucking hate them. The support from the fans hasn't been the problem, it's the support from the board. Do you think they're always bouncing emails around saying to each other "right, from now on full support".

sometimes being a fan isn't all about cheering it can be about discontent, after all if we all happy clapped then nothing would ever change, I shall go in the hopes of a performance on Saturday, if there is not one then the players need to leave the pitch to a serious amount of booing and vitriol, but that's after the final whistle
