This could well happen.
Our squad will be completely different next season.

If we can hold out for £40+ million I'd sell not to wolves though, can see jack potentially going to spurs to challenge hugo lloris for the #1 spot or Chelsea just hope he doesn't end up at arsenal.

If & when Jack goes it will be to a top 6 six club. I take it you've not seen him much this season then. I said on a thread a few weeks ago that I thought Butland might find himself disappointed with the offers that were available - being more likely to be Wolves or West Ham rather than ones that match his ego like Liverpool or Chelsea. And so it would appear.

It’s sad to say but Wolves are absolutely loaded and are really moving their club onto the next level. I can’t stand the dingles but they are going to be a force in the coming years.

You have to laugh at the media continually linking players to West Ham.
Are they so far inside their London bubble (pardon the pun) that they don't realise there is still a chance of them being relegated as well?

For £35M they can have him in my opinion. Jack hasn't had half the season Grant had last season. I'm sure we could find someone for less than £7-8M who could have done the same job as Jack has done this season. I know he has potential to be a great keeper, but it won't be for us anyway. We need the money to rebuild.

This is exactly what we need this summer. A right bunch of joey's with cash on the hip.
If we had someone half competent upstairs we could rinse someone dry, knocking on 80M+ for Butland, Shaqiri and Allen easily.

I agree that 35M would be great business but I’d much prefer for him go Liverpool. Yes, Wolves have the potential but surely he wants to play Champions League and he’s not getting that at Wolves!

I'll be very surprised if we get £35m for him from Wolves or anyone else. It would make him the most expensive goalkeeper in history. £34.7m Ederson £32.6m Buffon £18.3m De Geaa Is he really that good? We have the most goals conceded in the Prem, it wouldn't say much for the rest of our team would it

Couldn't care less where he goes as long as it's to the highest bidder.

Will De Gea move to Spain? Who knows but both of those are probably close to £100m transfers, it makes you sick considering we're sat here wondering how in the world £18m transfers can wreck your club.

I'm not arsed that it's Wolves, but I'll be disappointed that it's another one of our best players making a completely nothing transfer. Arnie to West Ham. One relegation team to another. Butland to Wolves. One relegation team to a newly promoted team, who will probably be fighting relegation (don't care what anyone says, they're not top 8)

As long as we get a good transfer fee i cant be arsed where he goes and will not miss him either He is England’s number 1 or 2 goal keeper and you can’t wait to see the back of him!!!!! This is why I question the mentality of some of our supporters. Nothing like encouraging your own players eh?

People should be careful what they wish for. Jack has had a poor season by his usually high standards (as have all the team) but he is still a top keeper and the liklihood is that if we inevitably sell him, his replacement will not be as good - and as we will be desparate without a 1st choice keeper the selling club will be able to name their price.

We have the most goals conceded in the Prem, it wouldn't say much for the rest of our team would it I think Stoke will use the Pickford deal (around £30m) as a barometer. He has more experience both premier league and internationally than Pickford did when that deal was done so in that sense £35m is about right. Given the season he's had though it would be excellent business.

I wouldn't be arsed to see the back of him, particularly after multiple showings of his distain towards fans. That said I find it troubling that we've had a good solid first and second goalkeeper that has massive potential. Lose him and we've got Grant- who can do a job but is getting on a bit, then we've got...? Pretty sure Haugaard will be released this summer.
