It's incredible how palace have escaped relegation,it just shows what a proven experienced manager can do, what a shame a experienced chairman could not have seen that

They have a manager who plays for 3 points, while Stoke has a manager who has wet dreams on 1 point

They also have an attacking threat, and a star player that actually turns up.

I think that having one of two players who know where the goal is has something more to do with it, really.

Zaha is the difference, just like arnie is the difference for west ham

They have a difference maker in Zaha, if he was still injured, they'd be fucked.
The difference in them with him and without is night and day - we could do with him being ill or something!

Yep, me too.

If we still had Arnie we wouldn't be where we are in this shit stained season but unfortunately the powers that be at SCFC decided to replace a fucking 12 goal a season player with a wanker! That's the difference between us and them it really is!

They also have an attacking threat, and a star player that actually turns up. If that is a veiled little dig at shaqiri, I like this post. Shaqiri is a star player in his own mind and nowhere else. Worst player on the pitch today and that takes some doing when crouch, diouf and fletcher were on the pitch for varying amounts of time. Stay up or go down, I wont be sorry to see that wanker disappear into the sunset.

Beating palace next week will come down to keeping Zaha quiet if we do what we did to Salah today we have a chance we just need to form some sort of attacking threat too

Beating palace next week will come down to keeping Zaha quiet if we do what we did to Salah today we have a chance we just need to form some sort of attacking threat too It's more difficult to do that on your own patch, against a player that relies on pace and space, when you have to come out and get a goal. As daft as it sounds, I reckon it will be more difficult than sitting in against Salah today, despite how excellent he has been this season.

True but we always just seem to set up not to get beat and when we do get the ball we either lump it up to crouch or play a long ball for diouf to run on too be interesting to see if Lambert takes more risks next week he really can't afford not too.

Hands up who laughed when Hodgson was appointed? Yep, me too. He’s a decent manager of middling teams and always has been but I think Zaha’s had more to do with them stopping up than him.

they should be far higher than they are in this dreadful premier league. Hodgson has done well to stabilise them but he's not some fucking messiah.
He's still shit.

Zaha is absolutely vital to them I'd take a two footer in the first minute and out zaha out even if we went down to ten men! Two foot him early doors and see how he fancies it.

Swap zaha for berahino or even diouf and see where we both end up. Quite simple we have fuck all up top.

Stating the obvious but if they play next week like they did today we are down. They have quality players who go for the jugular

So after losing their first 7 PL games he's not a Messiah. Shows you know as much about football as your old man-and he talked some bollocks!! No he's not. They were playing awful under De Boer. Hodgson came in and did a similar job to Lambert of steadying them at the back, then their forward talent did the rest. For them to only just be clear of relegation this weekend is a joke. I would not be wanting Hodgson to stay. I'm glad you've remembered my old man, he'll be chuffed to bits he's pissed someone off
