Crouch was an inch away from putting us one up in the first half you daft cunt... That's two chances. And who says a point isn't enough? I think we are down regardless but I feel you're making a rayt cock out of yourself here Ramadan's powder puff shot second half too. It was a decent chance poorly executed. Ramadan's talent and effort are wasted by his final touch

We had two very good chances, they only had two very good chances. What more do you want.... Go hung ho and lose by 3 or 4...idiot We had one chance from a set piece in the second half, in a game where a point wasn’t enough. I’m not suggesting we went gung ho, but we didn’t even attempt to counter attack them. Is that so hard to understand or are you just a thick fucker? So the Crouch chance in the 1st half wasn't a chance?Or Diouf at the back post-when he should have done better. I don't know about being a pint half empty type of bloke-you sound a pint fully empty type of bloke!!

Ramadan is just another very talented but also very badly managed player, wasting his time at our club. If he'd have gone to a 'proper' premier league football club, by now you'd be seeing much more from an established player.

Today was the first time we had decent balance as a team by having two upfront. If Lambert had done this from the start we'd have stayed up, as it is, we have a chance, which on today's performance looks like the lads are up for it. I've not been a fan of Lambert and we are still more likely to go down than stay up, but today was far from a whimper. Could have sworn we had the same shape last Sunday

If we had gone gung ho like some on here wanted we would have lost and people on here would still be moaning. We had to keep it solid and try and nick something, which we almost did with Shawcross towards the end. You’re right but you’re pissing in the wind on here!

We just HAD to win that game and Liverpool were there for the taking, yet we barely made it out of our own half second half. Only two subs made and the useless Shaqiri and Diouf lasted the full ninety minutes. What have we done to deserve Lambert AND Hughes in the same season? Do you actually understand the game?

Yes, the three teams with fewest points come the end of the season will be relegated. As things stand we are going to be one of those three teams. A win today would have given us two more points, therefore increasing our chances of survival. Simple, isn’t it?

Too much for the dooms-day brigade on here to understand i think Lambert has IMPROVED the performances within the constraints imposed on him by the previous manager.

The thick fucker is the one complaining about the fact that we just took a point off a team that NO ONE thought we would take anything from, in the one game out of the 3 we had left where we weren't realistically going to get anything so were going to concentrate on winning the last 2, and is also saying we HAD to get more than a point out of the likely Champs league finalists containing the player of the year and golden boot winner. Today was NOT a game anyone expected us to win and we (well, most of us apart from you) knew it would be the final 2 games that would decide our future not this one. A point today is a huge result as it keeps us in it given who Swansea are playing today and the fact we have them final day of the season.....but you carry on doing your usual of spouting utter shit because you clearly know fuck all about the game Boring, monotonous, tedious, pessimistic, clueless fucker. If we'd won today and our next game, then presuming Swansea take no points in there next 3 (inc. today...and that's what we're banking on regardless of what happened todayq) it would STILL go down to our game against Swansea on the final day as we'd only have been 2 points above them anyway you stupid knob...this doesn't change that but a point today gives us far more of a chance than a defeat would have. Doesn't take much fucking brain power to work it out....not losing today (which most thought was beyond us) was essential, winning wasn't as it doesn't really change anything with the maths side of our survival

I stopped reading at "Liverpool were there for the taking".
They had two strikers on the pitch today who've scored nearly 70 goals between them this season, yet they were "there for the taking".
Ridiculous.

If we'd gone for it, we might have created two or three more chances for ourselves. We'd have also left the door open to Liverpool creating five or six chances of their own.
Would anyone seriously back our forwards to take more of our chances than Liverpool's forwards taking theirs?
Game after game we're creating chances and missing them. For every crazy formation or substitution he might conjure up, if we had a decent forward to take the chances, we'd now be looking at Lambert as some sort of genius.
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. A point doesn't do us a lot of good, but it's better than the absolute drubbing most of us were expecting.

I know it’s hard to take when you’re in this position but a 0-0 draw against that Liverpool side is an excellent result. It’s an extra point most wouldn’t have seen coming

Ridiculous. Did you watch the match? They were shit, Jack barely had a save to make and they never really looked like scoring. Under any other circumstance today would have been an excellent point. We needed the win though. Still we can all reminice of this magnificent point when we’re in the Championship next season.

Aaah so you're saying we should have focussed on beating Liverpool then hope for a draw against Swansea on the last day? I think most with sense would have put that the other way around you dumb fucker. Liverpool battered Man City in the Champs league, scored a hatful against Roma and have a striking setup who've scored over 70 goals this season. Go out for the win today and throw the kitchen sink at it and we'd have been absolutely fucking tonked! Not losing was absolutely essential, winning wasn't. Try looking at how the points of a league table works, we're likely to be 3 points off safety by the end of the day with 6 available (against teams we have far more chance of beating than Liverpool). Simple question.....is that better than going all out, getting battered because of it (which you know yourself we would have) and then still being 4 points off safety with an even worse goal diffefence than we already have? Fucking braindead P.S you are aware we're basically reliant on teams above us losing whatever thefuck happened today anyway aren't you or can you not do basic fucking maths?

Those that have given up, should have a listen to this. Honest and emotional and unfortunately, far too many have forgotten what its like to be a fan. Giving up far too easily, anything that is slightly wrong they jump in it. We need that passion back for these last 2 games after a very good performance at Anfield.

I wouldn't say they were there for the taking, we rode our luck at times.
We got a point at Anfield with our limited squad - it's not enough to save us, but on it's own it's a good result.
