“Even in the worst case, and I don’t want to think or talk about this, but if we were to drop down then I can imagine being part of the team trying to rebuild this Club and get back into the Premier League.” Top man. www.stokecityfc.com/news/bauers-burning-ambitionShame Lambert doesn't like him. When did he say that?

Shame Lambert doesn't like him. When did he say that? He didn't. He just bizarrely dropped him, shunted him around the team and inexplicably subs him early.

Shame Lambert doesn't like him. When did he say that? He didn't. I'm reading between the lines. He's shunted him around, brought Johnson back and gone out of his way publicly to talk about how he likes him. It's normally an indicator of the opposite! Apologies to Mr Lambert if I'm wrong of course.

I was greeted with the sight of a Water Bottle being smashed against the floor. LMAO.

Hes already got a Prem club lined up Im sure of it, although probably not Liverpool I guess so, the interest from Saudi no doubt driven by his agent... which all points to him gone in the summer. Not bothered if he does go to be honest. He has been disappointing this season to say the least.

Apologies to Mr Lambert if I'm wrong of course. Fair enough although I think it is more that he doesn't rate Ramadan and would rather play Bauer on the left instead of him. Personally I like Bauer playing further forward and if they are both at the club next year then I would be quite happy for Edwards to play RB with Bauer in front of him.

As players get older they improve, then they plateau, then they deteriorate.
I think we have too many players this season who are clearly past their peak and deteriorating: Adam, Fletcher, Crouch, Cameron, Diouf (ruined by Hughes playing him as a WB), Johnson, and probably Ireland and Afellay but difficult to judge on their lack of playing time.
I thought Shawcross and Pieters had gone into decline as well but have been satisfied with their recent performances, even impressed at times.
I have not been impressed by recent Butland and Shaqiri performances but admit they are our best players. I don't think we will miss any players leaving and am sure there are plenty of players out there who could do a better job. We have been beaten by lower division sides this season and don't think we could live with the likes of Wolves, Derby, or Cardiff.

There's a few I'd entertain the thought of if we dropped though: Robles - not a bad keeper, and only 27 James Collins - experience, would do fine in the championship. Robert Huth - Don't care what any of you say, love him. Would allow him to return. Martin Kelly - good fullback but will go to a prem club. Joel Ward - See above ^ James Mcarthur - underrated, grafter. James Morrison - has good ability, an eye for a tackle and has a decent strike on him. Claudio Yacob - Odious prick but I'd have him, would bring much needed nastiness. Bakary Sako - Prem's a little too good for him but proven championship quality

True but you can see the thinking, he's got pace and a decent enough cross and we've been desperate due to injuries and form.

True but you can see the thinking, he's got pace and a decent enough cross and we've been desperate due to injuries and form. He's desperate, because he has no idea how to form a functioning starting 11 out of this group of players. Can't say that i can be too critical because i can't pick one either, and neither could the bloke that bought most of them. He's the only one with pace, he's the only one that looks like he's willing to run past someone, he's the only one that looks fit, we have cover in his position, he's decent going forward, so stick him up there and hope. That seems to me to be pretty much the thinking. This squad has been constructed with what appears to be zero consideration for the basic requirements of the premier league. You have to have pace and you have to have power and you have to have movement and we lack all three.
