Had a good chat with him yesterday about all things Stoke and football in general, things I took from the chat were 1) his love of our club 2) the fact he’d have done anything to be putting his boots on yesterday and playing in the game 3)How proud he was of his lad playing on the pitch at half time 4)The dressing room he was in at Stoke would have sorted out”wankers” like Berahino,Jese etc 5)Kevin Nolan is a top bloke and good manager 6)Will never forget that Delilah after promotion He may have a been a limited footballer for us but what a sound bloke👍

They didn't sort out Kitson. Or Palacios! Why was Kitson a troublemaker😄 Is Berahino a trouble maker? He's shit. He's lazy. He isn't very popular amongst the other players. Very similar to Kitson in truth with the notable exception that Kitson was actually a trouble maker who continually bitched, moaned and whined behind the scenes.

It certainly seems that he is from the noises coming out of the club.As for Kitson as continually told he was a loner

We could do with a few more like Dicko or Wilko at the moment - yes, they very technically very limited, but they were solid characters who put a shift in - you certainly couldn't accuse them of giving up if things didn't go our way

They didn't sort out Kitson. Or Palacios! Why was Kitson a troublemaker😄 No doubt there's a mythology about "back in the day". In the same way that Hughes recruitment (if it was Hughes) was some kind of turning point. Kitson, Palacios, Tonge, Davis, Soares, Sonkho, Ness, Shea, Tuncay and probably a few others besides all pinched a living off Stoke - either because they tossed it off, didn't get on with the manager, or simply weren't good enough. It's just that it goes under the radar a bit more so long as either (a) you get a few more right than you get wrong or (b) you can still manage to grind out results. Either way it's been going on for a while now.
