Ask Angela to expand on her comment a couple of weeks ago, something along the lines of:
"If we can get the man we originally wanted, Lambert will be out, and if not Lambert will stay"
Although, frankly, I'd like to think Lambert's position was becoming untenable regardless.

Evening you pair,I thought we were excellent 1st half today as were the crowd also but what the hell did Lambert say or do at half time that changed/influenced the way we performed in the 2nd half🙄 Also don’t get me started on Diouf either, the bloke is just not good enough at this level and his miss today changed the whole course of the game looking back. The substitution of Bauer for Ireland was also staggering for me in a game we needed to win and his pace surely offered more of an attacking threat? Postitives from today were the receptions for Fuller,Shawcross and Walters which were magnificent and all thoroughly deserved. Also Ange is the rumour correct I heard outside about free away travel staying for next season?

The Championship is a far better league for the fans to enjoy football. Discuss.
In fact we don't need to discuss. We'll all know soon enough.

Awful anticlimactic performance (again)
Are the Coates family intent on punishing us even more if this talk of 'Lambert to stay' is true ? Worst manager since Chris Kamara (and I include Brian Little)

Please let Lambert go and start again....1 win in 12 is shocking at any level despite the scenario. Don’t dislike the bloke but he’s just not good enough...so please don’t piss about like with Hughes....make the call before it’s too late for next season. Start again and chop Scholes.....someone must carry the can and he’s the CEO....of it as an ordinary big company he would go! Start next year with some positivity because otherwise we will carry over with a Lambert hangover!! Ned

The thought of Lambert still being our manager next season is giving me nightmares.... Please can you put my mind at rest and tell me there’s a chance this clown could be sacked in the not too distant future.....I’m getting sick of his excuses!
What’s your opinion on Lambert?

I would love Stoke to smash the Championship next year and paste teams week in week out but the reality is likely to be very different.
Our self sufficiency model will see Stoke in league 1 if we are not careful and I cannot stand the thought of bumming around the lower leagues for god knows how long like we did for 23 years before

Evening guys.
I sincerely hoped Lambert would work out after his initial pitch. Unfortunately, talk was all it was. He's a really bad cheerleader and adds nothing more. He left Wolves languishing around 15th before getting the sack. West Brom are making positive moves to prepare for next season whilst we sit around and see what happen.
As for the players, they're a collective disgrace and I'd love to have 5 minutes in a room with some of the biggest wasters. No guesses to who.

Our foward line is the worst in the league. An absloute disgrace that it’s come to playing a 18 year old who is no where near ready. When the inevitable happens and we drop,we need four new strikers.

Yes ange! 100000% agree with you! Everyone slating lambert, no one sees the stuff he’s done and how far already he’s brought the club. All people see is the 90 minutes a week and they think that’s the be all and end all of football! Clueless!

I don't think the argument that Lambert inherited a bad squad washes anymore either. West Brom are arguably worse but are managing to scrape results. Lambert's had some time to get it together and he's failed. He's got a worse win rare than Chris Kamara for crying out loud!

I agree with you ange , how do fans expect us to beat teams with the strikers he’s inherited. I’m not sure he’s the right man for the job but he’s doing his best with the rabble left by the fool now managing Southampton

Lamberts a clueless clown. He belongs in the scottish lower leagues. Go get John Coleman from Accrington Stanley.

Hi folks
I thought Bauer looked very lively today despite being made to play on the left
Lambert said he took Bauer off in a tactical switch and he did say how it nearly paid off as Ireland shaved the post with that curling shot
It was Glen Johnson who went off with the groin injury not Bauer.
I realy hope he is still around next season

Who do we think Ange alludes to when she said, if they get their man?. Surely not Allardyce?.

If, as suggested by Russ, Peter Coates was to step aside to let John take over then financially how would that impact the club positively ? From what I understand it is Denise who has the majority say on the Bet 365 cash so where would any investment come from as I don't think John has a great deal of personal wealth.
It looks more and more that we need investment from elsewhere yet where is that going to come from, particularly if we are no longer in the Premier League ? It seems that West Brom are already clearing the decks ahead of a proper push with talk of Allardyce heading there in the Summer yet at Stoke barring a few token excuses there has been no sign that anything is going to change.
I really fear for our future as we really seem to be intent of doing things 'on the cheap' - Do either of you think that there is any likelihood the Coates family will rethink their approach or do you see our slow demise continuing ?

Ange did you ask about season ticket sales in the meeting today? I was told 16 and half thousand and only 50% of executive boxes sold🤔
