Just noticed no reference at all to SCFC in the latest bet 365 advert on Sky. Previous adverts had shots of fans walking up stairs and a chap got a goal notification on his mobile. Does this mean old Coats and the gang think any link with the club is bad for the company image?

Certainly sends out the wrong message.

We have definitely been pulled! Don't want to be associated with losers, eh, Denise? Well, invest more and invest better is my advice!

The last advert was highly unrealistic that’s why it was canned.
I mean how likely are you to see a score notification for Stoke pop up?

Brilliant, I need to make some money back up after I sent some to a friend who e mailed me to say he was injured in an accident abroad. Seems he had never left Stoke but i didn’t find out until I’d paid. Where do I sign for the beans and dollars deal?

I have heard the party is over. As soon as we go down you will not see Stoke on any advert.

Can we call it "The Brit" again?
(although the Britannia are in worse shape than SCFC since the CoOp merger!)

The Brit. The Bet 365 Stadium/Arena or whatever the fuck they call it now sounds shit. If it's the only positive to come from relegation let's return to The Brit. It's almost poetic.

Even though they make their money from losers, they don't want to be associated with them .
Can a marketing / pr person explain ?

We are owned by a company that makes it's money from addicts misery, allegedly. They have used us, abused us. We have been beaten, bullied and buggered. And now they have ditched us allegedly.
Me? Can't see what all the fuss is about, allegedly.
Anyway I am off to bed with a new book, Pizzas for goalposts by M Cartwright.

They are going to make all their money back when daft sods bet on a quick return!
Anyway it will be interesting to see how it effects the Bet365 company as to whether we do try for a quick return.

I know they are already sponsoring matches and on Sky regular but to have a team in the PREM must draw more attention. We all know the Premier is a world wide brand. Come to think of it, I am wondering how they could allow relegation to happen. 😤

The amount of airtime we have received makes us a pretty poor return on investment. Be better for them to sponsor a big club who actually get on telly. If we were so important they wouldn't have let it happen.

Didn't they make a new Bet365 advert at an evening game in the last month or so, may have been the Watford game?.. Haven't seen a new advert aired featuring Stoke since this so it's either up their sleeves still or they've tactically binned it off.

I'm pretty sure they only sponsor us to run a marginal amount of dough into the club. More embarrassment would occur if Peter let his own club play at the Betfair stadium and have shirts with his competitors on them, it's just pocket money.

They are already a shirt sponsor of another club - Ludogorets. They win their league almost every season and qualify for the Champions League qualifiers every season, getting in on the odd occasion. It's probably very cheap advertising for potentially maximum gain. www.ludogorets.com/en/I question the hunger to get back to the top table based on what more could they get back from sponsorship, advertising and TV rights etc? We are basically the next Ipswich Town / Bolton. Settling for 10-14th in the Championship every season with little outlay and little return, hoping to avoid the inevitable slide back to League One. I'm now off to cheer myself up.
