The Gods are determined to not even give us the courtesy of an emotionless final guillotining of our head.
They're trying to make it as nasty as possible - even after Adam's penalty miss, Butland's howler at Leicester, the Adam sending off, Ince's 91st minute winner on Saturday, they still wanted more.
I thought I was totally handling the relegation, but those 10 minutes of slight hope followed by that Carroll nonsense has really set me back a bit. It's a while since I've just sat staring at the wall for half an hour after a game.

Smashed my fist on the table, but me and my mate were the only two in their watching the match. In Nantwich. Presumably there's a pub where all the stokies go ? but it was sad that nobody else in the white horse gave a shit. Great strike by Carroll but we all know that one in 50 of those attempts goes in the corner. Sods law it was against us. Nobody in Nantwich gives a fuck about Stoke I'm afraid.

The chink of light Crouchies goal gave us was sadly slammed shut in the 90th minute which was the gutting part.
We have had the odd chink of light in the last couple of months and not once seen the match out with the light still visible.

I lost it completely with Butland for that unnecessary punch. It's not the reason we're going down but him doing it has pissed me off for weeks. Straw that broke the camel's back.

How did everyone feel when that equaliser went in? Not being able to get to the game, that was probably one of the most difficult nights I've ever had watching stoke. I felt sick all day, worse watching, elated when we scored and absolutely devastated when the equalised. There are more important things in life than football and stoke city but sometimes its hard to appreciate what those things actually are. Echoing your thoughts here Dave. Absolutely gutted

Yep devastating. When the first two goals were disallowed and we got our noses in front you start to think is it our night? And the players were digging deep but that 5 minute spell camped outside our box had an inevitable ending. Gutting but not surprising......

Even when we took the lead,I stiil felt we wouldn't take the 3pts.
Lambert is a bottler, sends his teams out to avoid defeat instead of going for the win.
He is a Pulis mk.2.

I had accepted Relegation as inevitable a while back, but as Crouch scored I grabbed on to that small amount of hope and prayed we would see it through, Again this was just beyond us. 14 points we have dropped from winning positions tell its own story. today I just feel completely gutted.

Gutted. But I nearly had a heart attack when I thought he'd given a peno for a foul on Zouma only for the fecker to be blowing for offside.

On my way to buy a new TV. I'm afraid I threw my bottle of Becks at the screen. Missus not talking to me and will be £500 lighter, which I cannot afford.

I'm miserable as fuck today and actually fell to my knees for a second when Carroll's goal went in.
Though its nice to have something to care about again, I've been largely apathetic towards football and Stoke for 12 months now. I'd take the highs and lows of following a team like Stoke over the abject PL mediocrity.

Completely unsurprised. How many leads have we lost and late goals have we let in? When was the last time we got a meaningful late goal?
12 minutes to go and they fucked it up. That's all this club are good at- fucking things up.

I can’t remember the last time I felt so low after a game of football. It really was a metaphorical kick in the bollocks.

Gutted, upset and bad mood. However life goes on and health/ happiness is far more important than stoke getting relegated.

Afterwards like you I sat in silent shock and now just feel totally 'scunnered'. The game is well and truly up now.

Total elation followed by a deathly silence in there, even the bar staff looked gutted. cheers for the info, didnt know where to aim for as I dont know the town, its just convenient as halfway between stoke and chester.

To be honest because I've already accepted relegation and because an equaliser didn't seem far off it didn't hit me that hard.
Killer punch moment for me was Adam red card. That's the point I gave up.
To be fair to the club and Lambert it's apparent that the players haven't given up.

Its a trait we have acquired over the past 5 seasons...how many times have we conceded in the last 5 minutes..a staggering number i reckon. Its cost us a few points since Lambert came as well mate I suppose at least with Lambert it doesn't tend to be the fourth goal.
