How did everyone feel when that equaliser went in?
Not being able to get to the game, that was probably one of the most difficult nights I've ever had watching stoke.
I felt sick all day, worse watching, elated when we scored and absolutely devastated when the equalised.
There are more important things in life than football and stoke city but sometimes its hard to appreciate what those things actually are.

There are more important things in life than football and stoke city but sometimes its hard to appreciate what those things actually are. For five minutes I dared to dream that we could hold on and then do something unthinkable by seeing Burnley off on Sunday too, having been resigned to relegation long before the Everton debacle. Only to see that dream crumble before my eyes; snatched away by a mauruding pissed up Geordie. Life is very cruel sometimes!

Smashed my fist on the table, but me and my mate were the only two in their watching the match. In Nantwich. Presumably there's a pub where all the stokies go ? but it was sad that nobody else in the white horse gave a shit.
Great strike by Carroll but we all know that one in 50 of those attempts goes in the corner. Sods law it was against us.

Gutted. For once, I thought Lady Luck had smiled upon us. Instead, she lifted her skirt and farted in our face.

Gutted. I knew we were down before but it really hit home. And a while later post long walk to station in a weird way a bit relieved if that makes any sense.
Still I doubt the board are starting to plan for the inevitable
What struck me was even if we kept the whole squad, that is a mid table championship team at best. We are in a real mess especially midfield and up front. Oh and on the wings

I just somehow knew we wouldn't hold out for a win. Desperately hoping that we could but I just felt it was inevitable that they would equalise, and entirely predictable when they did.
IMO it was the final act of a dismal, abysmal, atrocious season which, although I was resigned to it before, has almost confirmed our relegation.
No more chances now, we're gone !
Desperately sad, bloody frustrating, and I'm really angry with the Board for allowing this to happen.

Paul Lambert has not inherited a great squad, but if his game management and substitutions were better we would be clear of the bottom 3.
Once again, the blame for dropping two points lies with him, his substitutions left us without a way to relieve the pressure. And the wrong man was marking Carroll after he came on

Gutted but not surprised. After toiling and sweating to get ahead we did everything wrong to protect the lead. Our heads went completely.

Absolutely gutted.
A bloke who plays maybe 5 games a season scored that goal yet we could see it coming. We rode our luck a hell of a lot, didn't really play that well other than maybe Bauer and Bruno and Lambert's substitutions were baffling. Why take off Bauer, seemingly our most potent threat on the wing and replace him with Crouch who needs crosses from the wing.
Why did we bang it away everytime we won the ball back and allow West Ham wave after wave of attack?, why did Butland feel the need to punch it? why can't Diouf hit a barn door?.....So many questions.

Wasn’t that bad really because as has been stated we are a poor team struggling in every game. Anything we get is just delaying the inevitable. I’m fairly numb to it all right now.

We are a poor team. Results don't lie over the season, despite all these claims of no luck. It was desperate stuff last night. Yes a brief glimmer, but never holding out for a win. Serious rebuilding needed now, but is Coates bothered enough? I have enjoyed the Premiership ride though, some great memories.

We rode our a luck a little against a bang average outfit in West Ham with Arnie having one of his...well Arnie days. Up until the substitutions we were on the front foot after the changes we were abysmal, could hardly pick a pass and Cameron committing a foul every second minute which allowed Wham to gain the initiative. It was a sickener when they scored but we were gifted a goal and a draw was really all we deserved.

I didn't feel a lot to be honest. I knew it was coming. When you can't finish a game off because you can't hit a fucking barn door from 3 yards and then you think bringing Geoff Cameron on is a good idea you knew how it would pan out. It's not that I don't care, it was just the whole inevitability about the situation and you didn't have to be any footballing Nostradamus to see it coming either.

I'm not sure how.anyone was surprised given we'd already let 3 (none standing) goals in before. It was only a matter of time given the amount of pressure we allowed onto us and how many points we've thrown away from winning positions.
It was a massive gut punch but we can't go on like we have and expect to stay up. We've just not got it in us.
