Ronaldo by a country mile. I only saw Ronaldo on the one occasion at the Brit and Wilko marked him out of the game until his rush of blood and the sending off

Kante last season was phenomenal. Ronaldo's the best player I've 'seen', but Kante's performance was ridiculous, like they'd got an extra man on the pitch.

Easily Scholes... outrageously talented.

Paul Scholes at the Brit, basically ran the show and played like it was a training exercise to him.

Off the top of my head in the last ten years vs. us
--- Suarez --- Kane --- Ronaldo --- Bale --- Scholes --- Toure --- Willian -- Vidic --- Ferdinand --- Kompany -- ----------- De Gea ----------------
Scholes was a joy to watch in some of his final games against us. I doubt Willian will get too many mentions but he really impressed me a couple of years back vs. Chelsea. Another not so obvious one but Sylvain Distin looked very good against us. Throw in Kante and Silva from the last couple of years too.

Few players have left my jaw on the floor like that second season when Scholes completely bosses the midfield. He was something else.

Don't under estimate Aguero his goal scoring consistency is beyond belief. David de Gea has become 15 extra points a season as well.
Most underrated has to be Giggs much better than Bale surely.

There have been too many good performances to mention them all but one stand out player against Stoke sides has always been Gareth Bale. He destroys us every time and I am glad we haven't had to face him over the last few years.
That volley he scored against us is one of the best goals I have ever seen!

I thought Torres was incredible at Liverpool against us, Drogba was also very, very good. Agree with others that Scholes was brilliant, we were a tight unit in those days and he found insisive passes with ease.

Some of the names mentioned on here are quite interesting because the players themselves, like Ronaldo, are rather good, but they performed pretty lousily when they had to play against Stoke. Gareth Bale's record was pretty mixed - a sending off in a humiliating defeat on one occasion, a phenomenal wonder-volley on another.
Paul Scholes was phenomenal. It was very rare that our aggressive team from that era would allow somebody to completely dictate the game at the Brit, but he was just imperious. It was like watching the work of a master, and he shone head and shoulders above everybody on the pitch, despite being head and shoulders...erm...shorter than everybody on the pitch.

Ryan Giggs our second season up if I remember rightly, he came on at 0-0 with half an hour left he was immense got 2 assists he was just too good for us.

Unless the OP changes the thread title to "best individual performance against us" the answer has to be Ronaldo.

When Suarez played against us. I thought he was phenomenal.
Ronaldo is the best but Suarezs performance was the best for me
