Sad that we are going down, but more worried that we could continue to fall further next season.
Lots of shit players on long contracts, this could take a while to fix

I can’t believe Swansea aren’t in deeper trouble. It's got to be deeply embarrassing March. You've been predicting relegation for Swansea for seven years, and our swansong is going to be on their ground.

We're not relegated until we're relegated. We still have to play Palace and Swansea, and we're going to win 27 - 0 on Monday night, which will do wonders for our goal difference.

Firstly, I think we’re down, it’d need a remarkable upturn in results for us to stay up. That said, there’s always one team who’re rooted in the bottom three and worm their way out at the last minute. Just like Brighton aren’t likely to get another point, we have comparatively more favourable fixtures and we need 3 wins. Way back when, when West Ham had just been relegated and had the likes of Defoe, Sheringham, Etherington, Hutchison etc we went and weathered the storm with Frazer Richardson popping up. There’s no reason why we can’t go and keep it tight and see Diouf scuff one in. We have a decent record in East London. Then we need 2 home wins. It really is doable. Swansea to get no more than 2 points from 15 Palace to get no more than 1 point from 12 WHU to get no more than 1 point from 18 Udders or Brighton to get no more points at all One of those has to happen even if we get the three wins. Which we won’t.

Do you think if we beat West Ham, Palace, Burnley and Swansea that we will stay up ?. I wish these 5 games had proceded the last 5 we have played, our position may look a bit different.

After Today’s results bottom 3 are doomed No way back for any of them Hughes will have the dubious honour of having relegated 2 teams in one season The clueless twat Agreed but I think Lambert has had more than a helping hand in the process Liverpool at home was when I thought it was all over - toothless, bottleless, shambolic - the failure to sign a striker confirmed it in the window

Look at Brighton's run in and then think back to Adam's penalty miss. Massive. Mind you we'd still have to win 2 games. And Jack chucking the ball in his own net v Liecester. We should be 4 points better off, however we would still go down.

West Brom are obviously down and we will be if we don't win tomorrow night. Too soon to write Southampton off yet. They troubled Arsenal and Chelsea in their last games, unlike us they can score goals and unlike us they don't have a major issue with goal difference.

I can’t believe Swansea aren’t in deeper trouble. I can, they took a look at results and league positions and decided bottom of the league and four points adrift is possibbly not a good place to be, they then took a descion that if we want to improve on this we need to give a new manager as much time as we possibly can to spot the problems and hopefully address them to improve us, under the new leadership they then went on to beat a couple of the top 6 and make the liberty "fortress liberty" with their home form now virtually guaranteeing them prem survival But over in the clueless inept fancy Dan player ruled enclave of stoke city fc.... A stubborn and bumbling owners only answer to the problems was to bury his head in board room sand of ineptitude and mutter "whats all the fuss about" as he dribbled down his best suit, he then decided that the best option was to wait and see if Hughes could turn it around based on the managers biggest plus point of we do not give a fuck about July to December as "we are always slow starters and always play better second half the season", and was only forced in to a decision when a team that were in a campaign of relegation with our nearest neighbours gave us a lesson in cup football to possibly get him to notice what the fuck "all the fuss was about"... But oh no let's pull our fingers out, with a little more planning we can put operation cluster fuck in to full swing, Let us amplify the problems within the club for the whole world to see why an earth should we keep this all to ourselves when we can let the whole footballing world have a giggle at our expense, let us compound the chaos with 3 weeks of utter embaressment by going on a spanish two week crusade and being turned down very publicly along with the details of a five year plan chasing a currently employed Spanish manager ......lets make us look like a team of league stature comparible to Hanley Town and not a team in Europe's richest platform of pro football, yet this embarrassment was not enough for our board room why the fuck should it be, oh no this is a season to surpass all others on the cringe-odometer, let's go all guns blazing and see if we can surpass this current level of supporter hurt, lets now forget about this spanish offer and a 5 year plan and lets push the boat out for an aging football dinosaur in Martin O'Neill and let him publically turn us down based on what ever the new plan may have been presented after our previous and media reported 5 year option... Then the cherry on the cake, What is the cheapest option we can come up with to salvage this mess and make everyone in the football world raise their eyebrows and in unison mutter"what the fucking hell, I didn't see that coming", who can we find on minimum wage to help us stay on the £100 plus million gravy train, I know let's go for Paul Lambert, "but what's he ever achieved in the prem" we all whispered as we waited for hope and salvation, it didn't matter though, the board assured us he had done his home work, he knew all our players names at the interview in fact the scfc page in Pauls pannini sticker collection was the first team that he wanted to complete AND he was British so he fits our only criteria...other than when we wanted a Spanish manager of course...but he was still 5 stickers short on his scfc pannini sticker book so that would never have worked out, So here we are, realistically most level headed supporters knew that we were all but mathematically relegated after the Everton game, 6 wins all season with Lambo picking up 1 win yet needing a minimum of 3 wins from 5 and hoping a team somewhere fuck up, a goal differance befitting an under 7's 5 aside team yet here we are holding on to a hope of salvation from the gravity crocodile based on blind loyalty inspired by losing to a team at home but not conceding the usual 4 goals and hoping points will come with the crowd staying on side...even though as a team we are not good enough Yeah I'm struggling to see why Swansea are not in more of a mess ....... when they have outfits like Stokes board room giving a little bit of assistance with the pressure of our great escape plan.

Am I right in thinking we play twice before Swansea play again? If we were to win the both (which I know is a big ask), we would really crank up the pressure on them. They play Man City after us on Sunday and I know it’s clutching at straws but we have to get behind them until we are officially gone

Sad that we are going down, but more worried that we could continue to fall further next season. Lots of shit players on long contracts, this could take a while to fix We will go down again before we come anywhere near promotion to the Premiership. This is the start of a really barren period for us unless something dramatic changes - which it won't. The current squad would lose to EVERY team in the Championship at the moment. I'm amazed that some of our fans seem unable to comprehend how shit we are. Perhaps next season when we start getting thrashed by the likes of Barnsley, Hull and Brentford the penny will finally drop for some. As things stand, I wouldn't put money on us beating teams from the Alsager & District Womens Sunday League. I've never seen a Stoke team that is just so shit, and bear in mind I stood on the Boothen during the holocaust season. I would honestly say I would not shed a tear if every single member of the squad was ditched in the summer. Every one of them. Start again. It can't possibly be any worse than this shower.

Well finishing bottom of the Championship with anything resembling the current squad of players is a very strong possibility, so like I said, it couldn't be any worse. Might as well give it a shot. We KNOW how bad these players will be next season, at least a complete new broom would be an unknown quantity, and an unknown quantity is an improvement on the certain failure we currently face.

History won't be kind will it, it's a terrible 3rd act;from The Bear Pit mentality/Rory Delap, to Stokealona and evolving our style, to what? Unfulfilled/lost potential with Arnie/Shaq etc. Tragic.
