Always works out that Hughes wins 1 in 3 games at most clubs he's been at ....we will never know how he would have taken on a relegation scrap with us He’d have sent us down

I think we were down anyway we are not capable of winning 3 of our last 5 games. Prove me wrong Stoke.

“What’s all the fuss about”😡 We need to sing that to the tune of "your grounds too big for you" on loop for 90 minutes against Burnley

I knew from the first minute that Chelsea weren't going to do us any favours just by there body language the only slight hope we have is hoping that Huddersfield and palace both lose and we beat West ham but that seems highly unlikely.

All the more galling given the way Hughes threw in the towel when we played Chelsea with the players he recruited.

Need Palace and Huddersfield to both lose now.... Good luck with that. 45-1 that southampton, palace, huddersfield and swansea would win today. All will win.

Hughes is an arrogant bellend who would have definitely taken us down.. saying that it's become very obvious that he wasn't the only issue we have at the club
It runs much deeper, recruitment has been poor and that isn't all on Sparky
It's not exactly a shock that with a decent squad of fit players that were there before him he might get a result against a big team shit out of form

Typical really.
He's really fell on his feet hasn't he. He's being paid several million to keep them up, he's going to Wembley, hes got about 5 players in the Southampton squad who he wanted when at Stoke. He'll be offered a new contract and will remain a Premier League manager.
Meanwhile back in the Potteries...

If there were any more nails that needed thumping into our coffin then these are the ones.
Predictable though.

The worlds an unfair place but how frustrating is it when a failure of a man at majority of his managerial roles can walk, and I mean walk into a job straight after ruining a pretty successful club. He must laugh his ass off every night. Some people are born in muck.

I thought the sages on here said Soton were down? As someone has said Hughes is more likely to win a game than Lambert. Lambo needs 10 games to win one.

Meanwhile back in the Potteries we should've ditched him at the end of last season at the very latest and actually spent money on decent players, not fat lazy dickheads that either can't be arsed or have atittudes that make Balotelli look like the Pope in comparison Hughes is a nob but there's much bigger fish to fry at Stoke

It matters not one jot as we are down anyway.
Southampton have definitely under achieved as they have better players than we have.
Let's hope that next season someone within the club cottons on that to win games you have to score goals.
