5th position may qualify for CL this season if Liverpool win CL (25%), isn't it? If yes, Chelsea should fight for it. Only 4 teams can qualify from a league it's given to another league How can they decide this league? In case both of Arsenal and Liverpool won the European cups and finished 5th and 6th in the league, so the 3rd team in the league will not participate, is it right? English teams were doing well this season in CL, if Arsenal and Liverpool won Europa League and Champions League it is fair to give England 5 places in CL.

Chelsea look like they have given up. They look terrible. Something going on there unfortunately for us!!!
Their players are not bothered and their manager isn't bothered because he knows he's going anyway!!!

Fucking hell fire. Please don't anyone use this as evidence that we should have kept Hughes. We would have continued plummeting under him, it's just sod's law that this is happening.

Of course we were. But we are doing no better, if worse under Lambert. As said many times the manager (whoever they are) is just the tip of a cut adrift iceberg that we have become On saying that, if they stay up expect to hear the media spouting their inane nonsense around how Saprky has never been relegated, amazing job at Southampton who looked dead a buried and what were SToke thinking blah blah blah

Vindication for Hughes' wingback system, in Bertrand's mile assist.

Excellent by Hughes, making Chelsea look poor. For me, his weakest point is his decisions in the players market, if they are going to stay up and this is possible, he will destroy them in the summer market, it will be gentle from him if he can buy Wimmer and Berahino.

If we’re being realistic, is it not better for us if Southampton stay up at the expense of Huddersfield or Swansea, as them two would be less of a threat if we are to have a chance of doing well in the championship.

Vindication for Hughes' wingback system, in Bertrand's mile assist. There was never a problem with the system, it works with the right players and players of the quality of Bertrand. The problem was that we didn't have a single wing back at the club and for whatever reason we either failed or didn't try to sign any. And despite having an unbalanced squad that wasn't remotely capable of playing a wing back system he stubbornly stuck with it anyway with disastrous results. That was poor management. It's one thing to have a vision, but if you plainly haven't got the players to fit that system you need to be pragmatic and play a system that fits the players you had. Hughes failed both in squad building and in being pragmatic and getting the best out of what he had.

Calm down everyone. Hughes hasn't had time to dismantle this talented squad of players yet, and replace them with a load of mercenaries who've failed at big clubs because of their questionable attitudes or injury issues.

Hughes just copies other teams successful formations even if he hasn't got the player to fill it. Fuck you Chelsea and especially fuck you Morata!

Always works out that Hughes wins 1 in 3 games at most clubs he's been at ....we will never know how he would have taken on a relegation scrap with us
