Now that they are into the semi, is our game slap bang in between the 2 ties...?...I think it is...

Surely this now becomes a really winnable game? Completely winnable. You'd expect a weakened side. I think we'll get something out of this game.

Just checked Liverpool’s next two fixtures which are Bournemouth at home and West Brom away. Chelsea only play once in that period so therefore going into our game Liverpool should be 13 points clear of dropping out of the Champions League places. Complete weakened team for our game you would imagine. Every little helps!
ps we’ve obviously got to pick up results against West Ham and Burnley in the meantime.

Are people seriously expecting us to get a result at Liverpool?

Are people seriously expecting us to get a result at Liverpool? Even with their kiddies they would run rings around our first team.

I don't think a draw at Anfield is out of the question. Last year we drew at the Etihad and Old Trafford. Shock results tend to happen at this stage of the season.

If they were to rest their first team they could line up something like this.
Mignolet Clyne Masterson Klavan Moreno Wijnaldum Jones Camacho Solanke Ings Woodburn

Are people seriously expecting us to get a result at Liverpool? Don’t be so negative. Did you see the games at Arse and against Spurs? We are capable of getting something if they play a weakened team!

Clutching at straws here. However I'd take going into this game with a slither of hope still intact.

Are people seriously expecting us to get a result at Liverpool? Hoping more than expecting. It's nowhere near impossible. We've got a great chance.

They won’t rest that many as they need to nail top 3 to guarantee the champions league groups

I'd expect an even weaker side to line up against us then played versus Everton. Can't see Mane,Van Dijk ,Henderson,Milner or Lovren starting.

They won’t rest that many as they need to nail top 3 to guarantee the champions league groups I don't think this is the case any more - I believe the Top 4 will all get guaranteed group stage places next season so it won't make much difference to a team finishing 4th rather than 3rd.

Knowing our luck they'll get nailed in the first leg, and not bother resting anybody for the second leg.
That said, they could bring Peggy Arphexad back and we still wouldn't score.

The fixtures we have left on paper should give us a really good chance of staying up. In August we would have looked at our run in as very favourable
We all know it’s not the case though.
