I still don't know how to post a picture in here, but on twitter people are posting pictures of stoke's Instagram about them having a golf day. I'm all for having fun but when we have the most important game of the season in 7 days and there not working their arses off, it beggars belief really. Maybe they have already decided there down so don't feel the need to train for the correct sport?

If we were sitting in 9th or 10th, no one would bat an eyelid. We are not playing until next Monday, so a day off now will not harm preparations.

Whilst i get what your saying, they could of cancelled it and be working harder on the training ground. What's more important at the end of the day? Maybe teaching diouf how not to cock up a 4 v 1

They shouldn't have a second off over the next week. I want Lambert flogging them night and day with no sleep. Make them run a marathon every day until they're in the peak of physical condition by this time next Monday. That is how this training stuff works isn't it?

West Ham were roundly castigated for going on a short sunshine break. Don’t think they’ve lost since.
If we have a fractured dressing room with some unhappy campers then a bit of morale boosting and community fostering might not be a terrible idea?
Should they just spend the whole week in monastic circumstances, spending any time they’re not training lying in a darkened room, punching themselves in the face and screaming?

Work them until they can’t run any longer. And when Monday comes and they can’t lift one leg in front of the other, we can criticise them for not putting a shift in......

What a good idea, more reasons for us to get apoplectic about effort, attitude and pashun.

If it's anything like the football they'll get to the green in 2 and end up 5 over.

Pieters just put a shot into the spectators on the 1st Choupo and Jese weren’t allowed to play because of their attire. Talking of Choupo did anyone see his coat he had on on Saturday😮

The hole could be as big as a manhole cover and Diouf would still miss.

It's an annual thing which has been going on for a good number of years and which helps local charities doesn't it? Most professional football clubs have one.
More fuss over absolutely nothing.

Dave, I have played in this golf day myself a couple of years ago. As far as I am aware no money goes to charity , it's an earner for the club and at £500.00 a pop for a four ball it's a nice earner. I think it's £600.00 if you want a player in your four ball. Wouldn't fancy playing with Diouff imagine all those air shots.

Where they playing at?
Just so I know not to book a round there anytime soon, the course will be fucked by the time that lot are finished.

We'd risk injury to players for 600 quid a pop. it's tin pot at best if this is the case, not really befitting of a global brand.
