Would you pay shaquri and Allen 5 million each and build a team around them in the championship ? Plus a 5 million bonus if we got promoted.? Instead of pissing useless money up the wall on nobody players ?

I would pay Big Sam the £10M to get us back to the Prem.

Why Allen, he's nothing particularly special.

They’d go anyway.
Top footballers want to win things.

I'd like to think the midfield will actually improve next season.

They’d go anyway. Top footballers want to win things. Yeah. But I don't think either of them two are 'top' players. Especially not if we drop. Not really arsed if we retain their services either way. Daft premise int it anyway chucking extra £5 millions about.

Shaq wouldn’t last ten minutes in the championship It would be fifty fifty which would be more bruised his ego or his legs when they have the nerve to kick him up in the air

If Joe Allen stayed our chances of getting back would improve immeasurably.....he won’t though there will be a long queue of PL clubs.

This might sound on odd idea but what about doing a deal on some of the players we think we want to keep that we loan them next year with an understanding that if we don't come back up they are sold for X that way if we come back up we are not starting at square one again and we would get a loan fee for them for the year

No. If Allen wants to stay then I would consider it but I think he will want to leave if another PL club comes in for him. Shaqiri can go. He has been better this year..a lot better when compared to many of his peers but he is not that good a player that we should hold on to him at any cost. Let him leave for another mid-table PL team or a high profile 2nd tier continental team. Not sure how many continental teams can pay his current wages. Lambert needs to comprehensively rebuild his squad. I would let go anyone who wants to leave.

Ndiaye is the one we need to try and convince to stay. Sell Allen for £20 odd million and sign a proper playmaker like Cairney at Fulham.

Grant Edwards Bauer Bruno shawcross Pieters stafylidis Badou Diouf Choupo and a striker. Encouraged to stay one year at least. Purchase loan free agent ability players for another starting 11. Plenty of games. Would be my way forward. Sell wimmer sobhi Butland Allen imbula shaqiri. I'm sure £70m for them 6. Small amounts of sale money for other players. Let be the man city of the championship. 17th are us until after the Swansea match. You lost me at sell wimmer 😂😂 We’re stuck with him unfortunately

For the Championship, I’d like to retain Grant, Bauer, Ryan, Indi, Pieters, Johnson, Edwards, Ireland, Babou, Crouch and Campbell I think that would be a start. Would love to see Joe, Shaq and Butland’s stay for a season, but wouldn’t expect them to play in the Chsmpionship. Same goes for Bauer too really, as he’s looking a descent shout for the Premier League. I’d offer him any money insentive before either of these others though, personally. The likes of Adam and Cameron must be moved on, and the likes of Ramadan, Bojan, Imbula, Berahino, Fletcher, Choupo and Diouf can do whatever they please for me, I’d just exile Berahino in a TP fashion, if no one else wanted to take a punt, he’s no good to have about the place. The disciplined ethos Paul Lambert is trying to instil must carry on in next season, just keep everything professional. Lot of rebuilding, not a lot of time. For the record, I don’t expect hardly any of what I hope will happen, to actually come about, sadly. I’m relitively happy to let Lambert have a dig at it in The Championship too, unpopular choice of change at the time, but I don’t blame him for this mess, and whilst I can’t understand a word he ever says, he seems more likeable than I initially thought he would be. I wanted Allerdyce before he went in to Everton, when the time was actually right to change the manager (not two months too late).

Wimmer 5 million if anything, Ramadan 5 million, Butland’s 20 million maybe, Allen 10 million, Imbula 5 million and Shaq 10. That’s me being reasonable too. Obviously Stoke have and would pay a lot more for some of their services 🙄

Its precisely that kind of comment that stiffled constructive discussion on Hughes after 2015/16. Pulis deserves more respect from us for what he did for our FC and area. Hughes meanwhile just whinges cos another job has fallen into his lap and he cannot go to the Commonwealth games to watch his daughter. Fuck Hughes.

Although he’s fucked us on several occasions towards the back end of this season, I’d keep Adam on next year. He knows what’s required to get out of the championship as he’s done it before. I also think he still has the quality required for that level. He may realise he owes us and pull his finger out.

He's a busted flush, needs to go back to Dundee and tear up the Scottish Premier League.....
