I've got a tenner either road on Patrick Reed at 45/1 to win the Masters. That's starting to go tits up though.

Standing ovation at full time was a show of solidarity. I’m 99% sure we are toast now...but if we do somehow pull of a miraculous escape that could be a defining moment.

Crouch will score the winning goal vs WestHam.
I think Berahino will come on vs Burnley and score the winning 1-0 goal.
Then we have something to build on.
👍

Another match out of the way we had little chance of taking anything from, but the performance was more encouraging.
We now need to hold out against Arni & Co. the way we did against Arsenal and Spurs and the "London" crowd will turn against their team in frustration. If we can score first, it will turn to anger and we may get a result.

That's where we score in the first half at a great point just before half time and then panic in the second half completely capitulate and end up losing. That's the one isn't it? Sorry not a positive post I know.

If I'm honest, the only positive is that Stoke could stay up still. It's not mathematically over just yet.
However, my heart isn't in it anymore. It hasn't been for months. I was resigned before Lambert came, and there was still decent points to play for.

people will stop asking me if I think Stoke will go down this season, wait a minute, they may be asking the same question next year, only a different division.

Saturday felt different, it wasn’t a standard loss.
There’s some sort of connection coming back, the ovation makes me want to believe we can do it,
Whilst I don’t think lamberts good enough, I do think he’s doing absolutely everything he can think of and is the right man to ‘clear the decks’ for us to go again.

Play like we did on Saturday and we might keep the fat lady quiet after all. And the crowd were magnificent - the 12th man is well and truly alive and kicking.
Lambert may have limitations as a manager but he's got the team working as a unit. The squad may well look very different next year - whether we stay up or go down - but he's demonstrated he can motivate a side, even if it means getting rid of those who put themselves before the team which is fine by me. If we stay up he deserves his chance and if we go down he seems to have the qualities to put together a battling side - and maybe a few more battlers is what we need.
A season of games like Saturday (with a result we actually deserve) will help put this one to bed.

A season of games like Saturday would mean no points and another relegation. What is it with you fans that celebrate failing like its success. We need a manager that wins games .Is that Lambert?

Lambo walked into an absolute shambles of a team and dressing room. No wonder managers were turning down the chance to manage stoke without hesitation There is a world of difference between giving your all and losing 2-1 to spurs And Not giving a shit and losing 2-1 to coventry I am happy to applaud the much improved effort and organisation since lambo arrived I wish he could have arrived two or Three months earlier

Might be able to go on a run after we score a goal like back in the day. Used to love the days of being able to run along the row celebrating a goal, granted I was much younger
