Dropping like flies more terrible news.
What a darts player and a great ambassador for his adopted city, didn’t like some of the shite he came out with in later life but very sad indeed.
RIP The Crafty Cockney x

Very sad news as another top sportsman passes away.
I never met him but always enjoyed watching him play and was impressed how he always promoted the City.
R.I.P. Eric Bristow. Very sad loss to the game.

Very sad, promoted the area and enabled Phil Taylor's career. One of the originals of the modern era of darts. RIP Eric.

Sad news. Only 60 too, that's no age.
My Mum got sick and tired of me throwing my arrows into a homemade dartboard and bought me a Eric Bristow dart board to hang on the wall. Had to retract the attic stairs to use the thing and stand slightly to one side, but it was due to this that I got into playing darts at all. I was pretty handy too, if I do say so myself.
RIP Eric.

RIP! as a fairly young lad in the past I used to think when you reach 60 anyday could be your last because I used to think it's old. However now I'm heading to 40 myself I realize it's actually no age really and considering more and more are living till 100 you could say he had a third of his life left. Chris Edwards 41, Wilkins 61 no Eric 60, if really hits home that life is too fucking short and just live it to the full, it's like Stoke going down now it's not the end of the world, football is just a game. Life is way too short have hate or bad feelings towards others because you'll probably end up a bitter and twisted oddball, just remember with these sudden deaths in a week we can go at anytime!
