I'm a massive Arnie fan and I honestly think he would improve Arsenal, Chelsea and even Man Utd. He has been the outstanding player in two shit teams, imagine what he could do in a decent side with decent players around him. He’s been the outstanding player in two shit teams That pretty much sums it up It’s not difficult to look good in a shit team What per cent of games was arnie outstanding for stoke 20 /30 % the top six require 60/70 % of outstanding games He is niether good enough or consistent enough the only thing he has good enough for a top six team is his ego That's the point, in my opinion he was always our attacking threat, many around me wanted him 'fucking off' and replaced with Ramadam because he was a lazy fucker!!!!. Most Stoke supporters couldn't see past his ego sadly.

And to think there were some lunatics suggesting we were better off without Arnie because we have Ramadan.... There were plenty of them on here earlier in the season suggesting we were a better team without Arnie and that Choupo-Moting was an able replacement Been really disappointed with Choupo. Having said that he's on course to be very close to Arnie's goal and assist tally from last season which shows he had fallen below his own standards. For me both the player and Hughes take blame for that. Arnie should score ten+ goals every season.

I can see why they thought Choupo could replace Arnie because there is no doubting Choupo's natural talent. The major difference is that Choupo really is a lazy fucker.

He was appalling under Bilic and has had some 'absent' games under Moyes too. However he is a matchwinner.

"Clearly we did'nt press the ball as much as we would have liked, which is disappointing"
"We looked good for long periods of the game, so to come away with nothing is a bit Disappointing"
"At 2 nil (which is a dangerous scoreline) we were still in the game"
"I'm disappointed at being disappointed"
"I wear a black mac like Blakey off On The Buses"

Southampton were abysmal.

Wow, one game and he's producing pure Sparky Hughes 2017/18 football right from the off. So hopefully that's two of the relegation places decided and we're playing our way out of the third.

After his first goal today, they showed it about 6 times on MOTD, mirror image of the December game at the Bet365 where Arnie also bossed it and was at pains to give it the large one to Sparky and our fans. Someone has also taught him how to do that provocative irons gesture too. Fair play to Sparky in his post match prezzer for pretending not to have noticed but he must have been grizzling away underneath.
For me I must admit I've kind of stood by Arnie despite his move since I loved him to pieces when he was with us but if he does that shit again when West Ham play us at the ridiculously named 'London Stadium' in a few weeks time I will be pissed off with the smug f*cker!

Agree that if he scored against in a few weeks and gestures more shite towards stoke fans he’s being a bit of a prick but nothing wrong with him giving Hughes stick, fair play to him

Arnie is a game changer and a match winner they are like gold dust, we let him walk away and now reap what we have sown, he saw the day to day ambition of our club first hand and left. 5year deal double his money he would have been an idiot not to leave. We all know the writing has be on the wall over the last 18 months, I said before xmas we won't break 30 points and I still believe it. You can't make a silk purse out or a sow ears no matter who is in charge

Don't blame him for ditching the rotting carcass that is SCFC but he could have done it with a bit more class. Or roundhouse-kicked Peter Coates in the chops on his way out...

Actually, yes, I do. If we had fired Hughes last Summer we would not be where we are today. Arni staying might have helped too, but the main reason we are where we are is the Board’s failure to take action - instead the chairman announced “I don’t see what all the fuss is about”. Denial is a dangerous thing. I meant the stuff about Arnie still being here if Hughes had gone, which is a load of cock. Of course Hughes should’ve gone in the summer. I actually believe Arni was much less likely to have left if Hughes had been fired in the Summer. he was happy where he was until Hughes lost the plot.

He’s wearing a light blue shirt and maroon tie. If he can’t even pick out the right clothes how can he expect to pick out a starting line up. What a moron. I except he’ll be blowing bubbles in a minute. Well there you go. Our expert manager of managers has decided that a light blue shirt does not match with a (club tie) which is maroon. If we are now to judge our managers on dress sense, I would think that LMH wins it hands down. That coat throw will go down in history. LMH was always dressed for the day. PFL and TFP never knew dress sense.

Dear Mr Scholes
do you still think that the decision to sell Arnie to a rival 1 year into a 5 year deal and replacehim with a loan and a free transfer was the sign of real ambition .especially as his goals are the reason they are staying up to bank another £100 million and we are destined for halving of revenue a fire sale and draconian cost cuts .
Will you reappear from the darkness your hiding in to explain again why this was ambiton . What his camp meant when they said our chairman should shut up and look at the nonessnse in his own club ?

You can't make a silk purse out or a sow ears no matter who is in charge One the snake eyed twat did not double his wages he reportedly increased them by another million and a half pounds a year Stoke did not let him walk away we achieved a very good price for a player who on his day was a game changer and on the rest pretty average and them days came more often then not I can understand certain fans having a go at the club but don’t rewrite history to do so And this so called ambition or lack of it was a ruse to salve the soul of a man who knew he shit on the very people who had supported him through his many off days

The fans were goading him from the first minute, chanting at him and jeering at him when not scoring. He would not have reacted the way he did had he not been given the abuse. He has every right to react, stop being so precious and look at the bigger picture. If you moved to a company, when your career was stuttering and started to perform well with them. Then another company saw this and offered you more money, would you not go? If after leaving you visited the old company and people were giving you a load of abuse, what would you do? At the end of the day if we still had Arnie, we wouldn't be where we are now! Simple!

This board gets ridiculous at times The Austrian tosser has one of his rare good games and out they all come the excuse they need to slag stoke
If you all love arnie so much can I suggest you sign up to dildo monthly and all learn how to blow Micheal Jackson’s chimp
There are many reasons to be pissed off with stoke at the moment But that over hyped overrated tosser is not one of them

That’s what I’d do as would most people who aren’t immature pricks.....

He left of his own accord, virtually went on strike in Pre Season and went for more cash. His choice. The way he has behaved since he left, again his choice. The big problem here is we haven't replaced his character in the squad with another proper talisman type player. Had we replaced Arnautovic properly we would have been sat above West Ham right now, looking down on them wondering just what the fuss is all about.

He’s still a big fish in a small pond, earning a shed load more cash yes but in terms of his career progression he’s fucking kidding himself if he thinks he’s he’s moved to the “next level”
