The biggest issue is that the players come out and try and vindicate themselves afterwards or pundits do it on their behalf.
I wouldn't mind if they came out and said they are there to win by whatever means necessary

Did you not see the defender blow on him just before he went down.
He felt a sudden wind on his neck and was entitled to go down and win a vital penalty for his team.

Lose all 3 and see how long it takes for the manager to start dropping players who dive. |

The "but" referred to one of the camera angles, if that was the view you saw, then it looked like a foul. It's all down to the players to stop these shenanigans. Bans and points deductions will hasten this |

Rather than retrospective action, this would have been sorted at the time with a proper VAR system. And by a proper system, I mean one based on player challenges, not the mess that the football authorities have come up with so far.
