BBC creaming over Hughes, fuck me I can't believe it, no mention of the horror show he has left us with. This weekend gets worse and worse. Thank you one and all on this thread for reassuring me that you all feel just like me, watching that match on TV I totally - totally- blame Hughes for the monumental pile of shit that he's left us with and the prospect of Championship oblivion for the next 10 years To hear the BBC fawning over him as if he's God's Gift, on top of Hughes' quote this week that he has done nothing to regret at Stoke, has left me fuming.

I still can't see them winning many games if they play like that in their remaining fixtures. They're still in deep, deep trouble. Even if we're even worse than them.

It's not our managers they hate. Pulis became popular when he joined someone else, too.

Dion Dublin "What's been accepted at Southampton in recent games won't be accepted anymore, not with Mark Hughes in charge" There really are some clowns in the punditry world!

Hughes will probably say " obviously if I was still in charge of Stoke no doubt it would be them in the semis, but I'm not and that's very unfortunate for them" Clearly !

Should stick to presenting Homes Under The Hammer. He spouts nothing but “Central heating, double glasses windows” on that an all.

Post match interview Cedric claimed that “tempo and belief” had changed since Hughes took over. Bizarre that those were two things missing this season at Stoke.
Perhaps he had them deep in the pockets of his grubby, black, flasher Mac.

Lucky, lucky outplayed Southampton! Lucky, lucky multiply sacked Mark Hughes! (who can regretfully now put on his CV - got my team to the Cup Final"! "It was not meant to be" for a super Wigan side!

He said the other week they should knock through and they did. The results were very impressive. 40k profit.

To be fair that's a decent result against a team that's bang in form and looking likely for promotion. Soton did what was necessary and got the result. I guess the question is why couldn't Hughes get a result at Coventry? The brutal answer is simple, Southampton have better players than us and will likely finish above us in the league.

I can see it now, Southampton will not only stay up but also win the FA Cup, we go down and Middlesborough come up!
Mark Hughes wins Premier League the next season (oh well maybe a bit of an exaggeration!)

Don’t know why he’s been slated? (Hughes)
Imbula was a Cartwright signing along with Wollshite and muniesa.
He was just told look happy with what you have and shoe string budget, and take all the flack while the board and chairman sit pretty and unscathed.

Apart from a grueling penalty win in the 8 th replay, isn’t this the best possible result for us? There calendar is starting to look crowded. Let’s hope they take their eyes off the ball and focus on the semifinal.

My hatred for Hughes has gone above Quitterall levels now. The way he went on the pitch to celebrate as if the cup run is his achievement is sickening. An absolute c**t. Don't be silly. He went on the pitch to congratulate his players and to bring about a bit of togetherness. They're in the same pile of shite as us.

Heard a Sunderland fan say he thought Saints fans are very loud. Loud.... once you scored. Wigan away, from experience, is a good away day for creating an atmosphere when you fill the end, thought your lot were poor. Not saying we're any great shakes anymore btw but at least we gave Paul Lambert 90 minutes of support once he was appointed at Man Utd and we all knew he was shit.

Dion Dublin "What's been accepted at Southampton in recent games won't be accepted anymore, not with Mark Hughes in charge" Defensive training? Spending money wisely? Stabbing former clubs in the back? Getting teams relegated?

When you get two players to score their first goal each in senior football in a cup tie that takes you to Wembley you are entitled to think your name is on the Cup.
