I thought, considering it was 10 v 11 for most of the game I thought we battled well and were unlucky to lose

All well and good if we're sitting pretty in the top half of the table.
When we're on the verge of relegation it means fuck all.

Absolutely it was much better performance than for example the game against Southampton BUT as mentioned before at this stage performance is not enough we need points.

I honestly don't give a crap about the performance at this stage of the season.
We lost.
That's what matters.

Here comes the "Draw" police, "we did well" "we fought 'aaaaard" Well, we need fucking wins you lot, we can't draw ourselves to safety it's almost mathematically impossible at this stage!

Everton are dog shit, it helped keep us in the game a little but playing Johnson at the back cancelled that out and made it easy for them.

I thought, considering it was 10 v 11 for most of the game I thought we battled well and were unlucky to lose WHAT!!! You have got to be having a laugh, Everton have lost their last 6 aways and made us look what we are.....relegation fodder, we were shocking. The red card was never a red especially in the conditions but should Adam have been on the pitch in the first place, no, bad call Johnson did not play to bad but should Johnson have been on the pitch from the start, No bad call loved Ramadan last season but sorry just not his game today, Butland England's no 1....i give up. We got exactly what we deserved today, no bad luck, no ref to blame we have had exactly what we deservered all season, and you know what it should have been worse they missed some sitters What's all the fuss about now then

I thought we had a good share of possession even with 10 men, the red card was harsh and their first goal looked offside. Aside from the arguments about selection I couldn’t fault the effort of the players on the pitch. I understand we’ve got a mountain to climb but we are still well in this fight to stay in this league and I just don’t understand why everyone on here seems to be giving up on the team.

Really? We had one shot at goal in 90 minutes.
We have an England goalkeeper who specialises in throwing the ball in his own net whilst being rooted to his line.
We have wingers who won't take people on and we have a centre forward who is old, wank, immobile and weak as piss.
We have a manager that makes Tony pulis look adventurous and we have a new left back that makes pieters look like cafu.
Apart from That, it was really encouraging.

We looked to have the beating of them till the sending off. Sharp, quick and effective. It counts for nothing though we just don't have enough games any more.

I understand we’ve got a mountain to climb but we are still well in this fight to stay in this league and I just don’t understand why everyone on here seems to be giving up on the team. I'm trying to keep the faith. I really am. But there is an impending sense of doom that I don't think many can shake off or ignore anymore. I don't think the lads are giving up on the team, everyone is very deflated because it all seemed so avoidable, which why you are seeing threads like mad today. People DO care about the team, it's heartbreaking and people are angry at the board. Peter Coates will be just as devastated, if not MORE SO than many of us fans. To think otherwise is silly. He did not plan for this and I think he was ultimately let down because he was too trusting in the actual decision makers. I was really encouraged by the performance too, but it seems so pointless to ignore the bigger picture now. I'm quite sad today, hard writing it down
