I feel sorry for the Stewards, they get taught the basics, but if it kicks off then What? they are left alone. Those stewards at the West Ham Match did the right right thing and left them alone...leave it to the police. T E S T Apparently there were no police there. Well they certainly don’t pay for any to be there.

Points deduction ain't going to happen. Blackpool got a 2 point when a fan sit in caused a match to be abandoned.
I can see a large fine though as pitch invasions cause delays which cause problems for foreign TV companies.

It’ll be interesting if there’s any action against Noble as his behaviour was a little excessive considering the “fan” was non threatening.

Would you take relegation if it meant getting your old ground back? Sorry, I know that’s a ridiculous hypothesis, but just wondering where the importance of the change in ground ranks in all of this.

Giving West Ham a fine won't achieve nothing. It won't make the fans stop coming into the pitch, points deducted is what will hurt them, not at the start of the season or in 20years but now, this season.
Can't see the pitch invasions stopping while they keep losing.

Surprised the BBC gave it the coverage they did on MOTD.....thought it would’ve been censored as it’s not positive for West Ham. Thought the bit with Brooking was funny...he’s like the only one sat there thinking “well I’m safe, they won’t touch me, I’m a legend”.....reminded me of these nutters who live with a tiger or bear all their lives then suddenly get eaten the moment the animal gets a chance.

I think we all know they’ll get a small fine this is why I have such a dislike for them. If it was a Stoke or Burnley the press would be all over this calling for points deductions. This is one of many
The Tevez scandal Riding roughshod over FFP to get back in the PL Banning Bobby Moore from Upton Park The whole OS scandal The last game at Upton Park suck up by Sky The Man U coach being attacked The board having meeting with members of the ICF Pitch invasion All the issues over security when they first moved into the OS The drugs issue Noble being hailed as some sort of hero for his over reaction to Jesus who was being non threatening Director of football causing a racism row Tapping up Arnie Not having their stadium ready for the start of the season causing a racism row a few weeks back. And the HMRC tax evasion raid in 2017

Can't see the pitch invasions stopping while they keep losing. Its not just about them losing though. I hope that doesn't become the predominant narrative. Of course if they were winning games it would be a different story, I realise that, but there are deep seated areas of conflict between board and fans.

I don’t blame them to be honest. It’s going to happen when supporters are pushed to their limit. Football clubs mean the earth to people and if people come in and threaten that some people are inevitably going to react angrily. It happened with us, it’s happening with Wast Ham, it will happen with other clubs in the future.

I'm just waiting for the £50,000 fine they're going to get. The only suitable punishment is for them to play behind closed doors for a couple of games or a points deduction. Of course we know it’ll be a suspended sentence and a slap on wrists.

I can remember chants of 'henshall is a wanker' and old ten pences thrown at a window and of course the storming of the waddington suite. Ah the memories. Hope it never gets that bad again.
In this day and age of maximum money and media exposure this should not be allowed to pass unpunished. But it will be. One rule for some another for every bugger else
