Can’t decide who’s the most inane, Jenas, Owen or Murphy. They deliver cliche after cliche with not an original thought between them.

At least one benefit of being in the Championship next season is that we’ll see proportionally less free style diving and roly poly playacting.

How he gets regular gigs, I'll never know. Brings nothing to the table but cliches and stating the obvious.

When he first came on to the scene - initially just with the BBC - I thought he was OK - seemed to be a bit more studious and insightful than your average pundit.
However last couple of years since he's started getting the BT gigs and his Friday radio show he seems to have morphed into a beige shadow of clichéd blandness. It makes you wonder if it's been coached into him because it's what the broadcasters believe it is what the average "punter" actually wants.

I totally agree,he didn’t seem too bad at first but it seems to have gone to his head......last night was excruciating. In general the whole punditry scene is a fucking nightmare.I like the bloke called “the moose” on Talkshite and Chris Sutton, the rest can fuck right off. Ps I actually know of a Seymour Bush.

Why do we need pundits at all? They earned fortunes during their careers and carry on earning in their retirement. Piss take.

It's usually all about how hard he works, how far he's travelled, the 'friends' he's got in the game, and the food that is or isn't on offer. Fuckin' useless.

Had mixed views too on Jenas as a footy pundit prior to seeing him on a BBC documentary about knife crime & related murders in Nottingham a few weeks ago. He came across very well on that & met up with some right nasty pieces who were saying they wouldn't hesitate into sticking a blade into someone & murdering them. One even produced a massive knife almost sword size out right in front of him which was an omg moment for him. He tried in vain to get the lads he was interviewing to reason & quit carrying them but ultimately he was wasting his time.. He spent time with victims families & went to a cemetary with one lad who'd been stabbed to deaths mum.. Was quite a powerful documentary & going back to his Nottingham roots in the process.

Whisper it quietly but that is why he is/was a cheat, look at the penalties against Cameroon in 1990 if they were given against Stoke we would have gone ballistic.
