A simple and quiet statement would be never ever to visit any kebab shop. You know they all definitely sell hellal meat. Let's face it, everyone want proper chips anyways. This brutal meat product is not labelled anywhere else, where up to 50% of it hellal. But kebab shops you know for a fact, 100% of it is. I have mentioned and kicked off before about this issue, in previous user names, but i am pleased to say that from two days ago,, no meat at our place of work is Halal including the Staff Restaurant, and unless specifically requested, we can get it, but at a extra cost.

No good karma points to the guilty ones! 😡
Btw, I know of a person who only can get sexually satisfied by jerking off to football hooliganism videos. How weird is that? But I think this animal cruelty is a similar thing.

May not be representative of Halal practices, just awful as an isolated incident. Us humans are not the best of animals. (Please don't watch if likely to be too upset.. ... Should videos like this be posted?.....Is there any point in highlighting this type of animal cruelty...I honestly don't know)

I've just seen this elsewhere on the net . Disgusting that this is in Stoke, but wherever it is it's despicable that anyone can do this sort of thing to a dog or any animal. Hopefully the dog is found a better home with owners who will properly take care of it. As for the owners........

Trying to understand each other is part of the way to a peaceful world. Some things are way beyond my understanding. How does this person get pleasure from this?

As I've got older I've come to value more and more the qualities of dogs...and unfortunately the inadequacies of some humans. Apologies if this is upsetting, but it is reality. Of course we should not generalise to a whole population, but I wish the Chinese would do something about their " festival" /

Not really sure what pointless cruelty means. Do you mean some forms of cruelty are ok? As in the end justifies the mean.

I resurrected the thread to highlight that progress is being made in exporting live animals for slaughter and invite people to sign the petition to pressurise the government to put an end to caging animals. I'm not suggesting the Tory government are interested in animal cruelty, but they are interested in chasing votes and will act if there is enough votes in it for them. Despite the horrific evidence on this thread, the British are a nation of animal lovers, second only to Germany of the world major nations. Banning long time caging of animals would put us the most caring major nation.

Similar experience here Lawrie. I complained to the RSPCA about dogs not being cared for and was told that food and water is the only requirement.
I phoned up about a flock of sheep that were constantly escaping because of lack of food and they weren't interested either. I was so pissed off by their level of questioning. What do they look like, How can you tell, etc that I told them unless they paid a visit I'd be speaking to Radio Stoke and the Sentinel and repeating the conversation about their disinterest in animal welfare. The sheep were removed within two days. I'd been told by one of the local farmers that they were short of food.
I detest the RSPCA .....my mother in law decided to make a £3 a month donation to them by DD. After a few months she told me that they were pestering her every week to increase the donation, I told her to ignore them and just stop her DD. She didn’t and when she sadly popped her clogs 3 years ago we were closing down her bank accounts and found she was making a monthly donation of £32 a month on the same DD to the RSPCA. We could find no paperwork or communication from the RSPCA regarding my mother in laws donations so spoke to the bank. They said it was common practice for charities to increase DDs without prior notice and that they had warned my mum in law by phone about the practice on several occasions. Mum was in her late 80s and probably didn’t really understand what was going on. I wrote to the RSPCA but heard nothing from them.....bastards. The only time the RSPCA seem to be interested is when there is a TV crew present. Some of the crap you see on these TV shows about the lengths they go to when say “saving a duck” are laughable and only done for the TV.

I’ve had a shotgun for over forty years and also kept Gundog’s and still do and over the years I’ve seen some unbelievable cruelty to both game birds and dogs , I even know of vets who participate in the way of life , but cruelty to animals has no place in today’s society

I found a lurcher cross in terrible condition once that had been left by some travellers running around distressed in a local park when they left and called them and they didn’t answer for ages when they did they tried to fob me off with the local councils dog warden. When i called the council they didn’t help either, just weren’t interested so I called the vet we used. They agreed to help and nursed him for a week till he was fully recovered and then found him a loving new home without charging me a penny. In relation to the charity side I’ve had similar stories with the RSPCA and others where they’re not happy with what you give them. They just want more (must be a british thing). The only charity i’ve not had that with are the Salvation Army.

There's something about these kind of people, it's more than just animal cruelty, there's something deeper going on.
I went to school (well, I went to the same school, I steered clear of the weird fuckers) with two lads like this. Definitely wired up wrong, in lots of ways. I'd be being polite, if I said they didn't exactly 'fit in' anywhere.
I had half expected to have seen them on the front page of the Sentinel by now, for something probably darker.
