Following the display of fabulous dogs on Crufts, I’m posting the petition link for Lucy’s Law which is pushing for a ban on Puppy Farms and 3rd Party puppy sales. I don’t advocate the Kennel Club pomposity regarding pedigree standards that are on display at Crufts, I do in fact detest aspects of the KC but it can’t be argued that most dogs on Crufts are bloody ace. I’ve recently discovered a website that is awash with young dogs (mainly female) used for breeding, most haven’t been outdoors until being discarded and are traumatised and petrified of everyday sights, sounds and cower at human contact. How bloody sad is that? I’m no tree hugging eco warrior, but I embrace what the love of a good hound can bring so if you feel inclined, here it is. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/213451Thanks for reading. They need to ban puppy farming, these individuals have no love for the dogs they see them as purely money making machines.

That has made me sick to my stomach. If there is any justice they should just kill the cunts for doing it. I've never felt so sick and angry at the same time.

My daughter’s next door neighbour has two Siberian huskies that they have bred from every year for the last 4 years. The parent dogs are never and I mean never taken out of the terraced house for excercise and use the small back yard for their excercise. They are kept purely for the puppies which they produce 2 litters a year of 5 to 6 puppies at probably around £400 a throw. I have encountered these poor dogs once when they were being loaded into a car and I have never seen such aggression in an animal as the male had. My daughter contacted the RSPCA who called on the owners but said that the dogs were being fed and cared for so there’s nowt they can do.

I've also known breeders that do very much the same and these people purport to be massive dog lovers. Selfish wankers is what they are. Talking of selfish wankers I rode past a house in Blythe Bridge yesterday that had a cockerel crowing away in the garden, it was semi-detached house they had plenty of neighbours. I genuinely wonder what, if anything goes through their minds, if I was their neighbour it wouldn't last longer than a week.

I complained to the RSPCA about dogs not being cared for and was told that food and water is the only requirement.
I phoned up about a flock of sheep that were constantly escaping because of lack of food and they weren't interested either. I was so pissed off by their level of questioning. What do they look like, How can you tell, etc that I told them unless they paid a visit I'd be speaking to Radio Stoke and the Sentinel and repeating the conversation about their disinterest in animal welfare. The sheep were removed within two days. I'd been told by one of the local farmers that they were short of food.

I detest the RSPCA .....my mother in law decided to make a £3 a month donation to them by DD. After a few months she told me that they were pestering her every week to increase the donation, I told her to ignore them and just stop her DD. She didn’t and when she sadly popped her clogs 3 years ago we were closing down her bank accounts and found she was making a monthly donation of £32 a month on the same DD to the RSPCA. We could find no paperwork or communication from the RSPCA regarding my mother in laws donations so spoke to the bank. They said it was common practice for charities to increase DDs without prior notice and that they had warned my mum in law by phone about the practice on several occasions. Mum was in her late 80s and probably didn’t really understand what was going on. I wrote to the RSPCA but heard nothing from them.....bastards.

After my frustrating conversations with them I got a phone call from sales who'd had my number passed on. The conversation didn't last too long.
Recently however I had a conversation with a contact regarding animal charities on behalf of someone looking to make significant donations. The contact mentioned the good work done by the local RSPCA and when I baulked at the thought he explained in detail that at that local level you were looking at volunteers raising their own money without funding from RSPCA PLC Central so my eyes were opened.

Cruelty to animals ranks up there as one of the things that really disgust me, it is obviously not as bad as cruelty to children, but in my view the perpetrators have the same horrible type of mentality: inflicting harm on someone / something unable to defend themselves.

As you suggest I think the way we treat children and animals reflects on what we are really like.

You were right to post it, people need to be made aware. There's a documentary on YouTube called Earthlings which is just awful viewing. I think I watched about 5 minutes of it before I turned it off and decided never to eat animals again.

If we eat animals surely the least that we can do is to kill them as humanely as possible? If God is worth his ( or her) salt surely he ( or she) would agree.

Absolute bloody savages ! Disgraceful, bloody disgraceful !
I just can't adequately describe my feelings looking at all of that.
How can any if that go on in today's "modern" World ?
These bastards are still living in the Middle Ages.
They should suffer the same fate as those defenceless animals.
Terrible, absolutely terrible !

What an absolute bastard ! It's barbaric and absolutely horrific what some people can do to poor defenceless animals (and to other people as well). That poor turtle was obviously suffering greatly and in great distress. There can be no excuse or possible justification for actions like that. That bastard should be strung up with piano wire.

Please don't watch if you don't want to get too upset. When we try to understand different people/ different cultures, perhaps different races we ( and I am guilty of this) can't presume that they " think" like " us" ,as groups or individuals. For me , how we treat animiis an insight on how we treat people/ each other/ the environment

Remember the Manchester dogs home arson a few years ago? One of the only times I've genuinely nearly cried since being an adult. Hearing the news reporter talk of dogs crying and yelping as they burned alive absolutely broke me at the time.
We still don't know what happened to the little cunt involved. Police wouldn't say anything other than it was a 15 year old lad. Hope he got beaten to within millimetres of his life when he went back to school.

A simple and quiet statement would be never ever to visit any kebab shop. You know they all definitely sell hellal meat.
Let's face it, everyone want proper chips anyways.
This brutal meat product is not labelled anywhere else, where up to 50% of it hellal. But kebab shops you know for a fact, 100% of it is.
