The Coates family are sick of the club and are sick of the high expense of the Premiership.
I firmly believe they are deliberately taking us into the Championship, where the costs will be lower, especially as all they will aim for is mid table stability.

They will have a PL wage bill without the PL money. If that's their plan, they've made a monumental cock up of that too!

Hmmmm not sure the marketing of the stadium name and shirt sponsorship was necessarily aimed at the Championship. Badly managed club, and cheapskat e board? yes, is it deliberate ? No, not for me.

I think this is a ridiculous theory based on nothing, if it was true they would have saved themselves 18mil by not buying a defender we didn't really need, they just got complacent and some how didn't realise what it takes these days.

Well if betting advertising is banned in football will they need a vehicle to pin it on?
If the club no longer serves Bet365s needs why would they or Peter Coates keep pumping in money?
Hence the self sufficiency. Might be horse shit but it's my horse shit and I'm covered in it^

If they were trying to get relegated, they wouldn't have chucked 30m on two pieces of crap, they wouldnt have bothered sacking Sparky, they certainly wouldn't have filled in the corner.
Thankfully, it's unfortunate idiocy rather than some sinister and elaborate plot.

The club have made mistakes, signing have not come off,but for anyone to believe the board wanted us to get relagated is talking shit.If they wanted to unload the club it would be easier in the Prem.If we stay up or we drop down what major difference has it for the viewing fan.Them who watch on the Internet it will impact,But football is football get behind your club, remember most of you would not of even supported the club if it was not for the present board.

Peter Coates will be horrified.
He wants silverware while he is alive.
It said volumes when Hughes was sacked following a cup defeat rather than the awful Prem games we endured.
Being relegated makes silverware more unlikely.
