I remember lots of seasons when we went down, sometimes from a better position than this. In terms of great escapes the return of Hudson was the best I guess.
Who can come in now and have a similar impact. It’s the flimsiest of straws to clutch at but if Ireland’s cameo at Old Trafford could be sustained over 7-8 games, and if he could stay fit, maybe he’s the man to lead us to the Promised Land of 17th?
He just seems to have that passing ability absent in the rest of our midfielders.
Players always seem better when they’re missing I guess!

Ramadan will assume the role of Paul Maguire and score 4 goals as we beat Swansea to stay up on the last day. You read it here first!

It would have been Bojan but he's been mocked and nailed to a cross.

Ramadan. I swear this lad has too much natural ability to be left out.

We could try the Maguire corner routine seeing as we struggle to beat the first man, anyway.

More chance of us getting a plague of frogs than a Messiah.
Best shop stopper in the league in goal with the worst goal difference speaks volumes about this team at both ends and the middle.

Give Sobhi some of what Salah is drinking.
I know it has a great history and all but Egypt has the magic touch at the moment in football (Salah & Ramadan are like kings at home too) and we are probably missing out on what that kind of hype does to a person by not playing Sobhi more. Wait til you see them at the World Cup.
Not saying he would be any sort of messiah but there is certainly no harm in giving him another go.

He’s currently playing for Alaves. :’( He didnt even make their bench yesterday. Worth bringing him back? A little bit of stardust left in him?

It would have been Bojan but he's been mocked and nailed to a cross. I actually agree. Under a new manager with new motivation, I could see Bojan having a huge impact on this season. For reasons unclear, he remains on loan and barely getting a game.

4231 is our messiah.
Either with Ireland in the middle of Shaq and Jese, or 3 from Shaq/Ramadan/Jese/Choupo in a fluid 3.

Don’t get this love in with Ramadan. Seen him play three times and whilst he is good with ball control and beating his opponent, his final ball play is not good because he does not look up for the final pass instead wanting to do it all himself. He needs more coaching with final ball play.

We needed Hughes replaced in May....nailed on stay up with anyone else but a mixture of loyalty, inactivity and dithering has us on the cusp of relegation in what is a very poor league below 6th
Another missed opportunity
Typical bloody Stoke
