I'm trying to think I'd have been happy with two points from Leicester and Southampton away and not look at the table! We're going to have to beat a top 6 side. How sweet if we beat the arse!

We have a chance, and it's not that we can't beat Everton, Burnley and Palace at home. It's that we have to. No room for error.

Wish I had your optimism.
The way I see it, we're fucked. Not winning our easier fixtures, particularly the home games in the last few weeks has killed my optimism. Our squad simply isn't good enough. The worst thing is we all saw this coming, everyone except our "I don't know what all the fuss is about" board. I feel empty right now.

No chance by next Monday the goal difference will be in the 30's, even if we pick up a win the goal difference will kill us

West Brom are fucked. We are better than Palace, Southampton and, as things stand, West Ham. We're as good as Huddersfield and Brighton. Swansea and Newcastle are too unpredictable to tell. Plenty to play for.
Plus most of the team are looking up for it.

Wouldn't it be nice to see us get revenge against arnies West Ham? Not impossible, and with an undeserved penalty despatched by Shaq!

The chance was most likely missed at the beginning of the season...... it was obvious Hughes had lost the plot yet too many blithely went on ignoring the evidence of their own eyes.

But fuck me we’ve got to start and play better and at least look a threat going forward At least it's in our hands mate but that's all you can say.We will pay for not getting a striker in during January, the latest in a long list of reckless decisions made by the hierarchy. We won't win any battles firing fuckin blanks. Our only saviour will be by the ineptitude of other teams around us,and i really can't see us staying up.

If we’d have scored that penalty against Brighton, we could have lost at both Leicester and Southampton and still not be any worse off. Massive, massive miss that was!

Really can’t see us getting out of it now.

When you look through the remaining games Southampton look like they are in the deep stuff too. Palace have a couple of winnable home games like Stoke, with a few tricky ones up next. West Ham a very similar situation too. Huddersfield have some winnable games next but a tough finish. Brighton will get a handful more points but not many more.
It's still a complete lottery. If Choupo took that chance it could have been a 1-0 smash and grab today. The damage was done in the home games against Newcastle and even more against Brighton (and you can easily identify others too, but those two are the main ones).
I think it will come down to beating Palace and Burnley, not losing to West Ham and a last game do or die against a safe Swansea. (assuming the next four don't go LLLL).
36 points is my guess and 50/50 if that's enough with the GD. 37 would probably be enough?

Barring any miracle wins against City, Arsenal, Spurs and/or Liverpool, we will have to win four from Everton (h), WHU (a), Burnley (h), Palace (h), Swansea (a) for it to be in our own hands.
Even three wins and two draws won't be enough, especially with our GD.
I can't see that happening. Particularly since there is no indication whatsoever we can score a fucking goal. Even more so since we've only won six in total all season!
Sayonara, Premier League. It's been emotional.

We looked desperate up front and don't have the means to change
Diouf. Cheapo. Shaquiri jesse and crouch all had a crack today.
Desperation...relegated

The thing that’s giving me hope is that I have mates who support Palace, Brighton, West Ham and Newcastle, and all four of them are completely convinced they’re down with no way back. Everyone is utterly shit.

Funnily enough I’m quietly optimistic tonight. The last two games we’ve actually turned the home crowd against there own teams. If we can do that to West Ham and Swansea then I’m convinced we will beat them. Along with beating Everton palace and Burnley! And no I haven’t been drinking... or taken drugs!!

I don't understand people saying three wins in 9 games, we haven't managed it so far this season and we haven't improved the forward line so how on earth are we going to manage it?
Those goals against are going to drop us and all I can see is 1 win and a few draws in a Pulis binary mini season styley!

We need to be bold and play to the few strengths we have. We won't. We will do what we are doing and fall short. The brave teams will survive.

The brave teams will survive. I go along with that sentiment but when the owners lack courage to back their club it filters down to the many minions! Swansea are showing there fight and haven't looked back, I know they aren't safe but they are going down fighting! We mocked West Ham but even they showed fight and got out of it, well for the moment!

Soton were awful, Newcastle losing again, palace not good, West Ham struggling, Huddersfield down there, Brighton will be too. This is going to the wire. And I actually think we may just pull it off

Whilst i wanted a minimum of 4 from the last two games 2 points isnt catastrophic. Its all going to rely on the home games everton, burnley and palace are massive we have to take 7 points from those 3 if we can get another 2 points in draws im convinced it will be enough.
