I think he can still play at that level, just.
It's not the premiership, that's where Stoke play you know ;D ;D

Isn't it Garreth O'Connor that has left them and not James?

Think James has until this weekend to accept the contract offer from Burnley or they will withdraw it.

I was just browsing this story and came across the fact that JO'C has a younger brother called Danny who plays professionally in Ireland. No big suprise until it also states that his brother is 6'4" tall! Surely that can't be right!

tinyurl.com/5jjh3pBurnley fans seem split on the decision. It'll be interesting to see where he reappears.

He's the guy who scored the two goals against cardiff to get us into the play offs from league 1 wasn't he? Deflected the ball off Oulare's arse.

Into the local pub comes Paddy Murphy, looking like he'd just been run over by a train. His arm is in a sling, his nose is broken, his face is cut and bruised and he's walking with a limp. "What happened to you?" asks Sean, the bartender. "Jamie O'Connor and me had a fight," says Paddy.
"That little shit, O'Connor?" says Sean, "He couldn't do that to you, he must have had something in his hand."
"That he did," says Paddy, "a shovel is what he had, and a terrible lickin' he gave me with it."
"Well," says Sean, "you should have defended yourself. Didn't you have something in your hand?"
"That I did," said Paddy, "Mrs. O'Connor's breast, and a thing of beauty it was, but useless in a fight."

James was nothing but a gent at Stoke and helped get us into the playoff final he also ran the length of the pitch after scoring the first to celebrate in front of the Stokies.
The Icelandic board helped get rid of him.
He was not offered a new contract at Stoke and so went else where. Then after Stoke decided to offer a contract and then try to turn the Stoke fans against him.

His role in returning us from the dustbin of English football should never be forgotten. Where would we be now without his goals at Cardiff??
Jesus, there are some thick twats on here.

Always had a lot of time for O'Connr (James). What he lacked in ability, he more than made up for in effort. Actually, we have had worse mid fielders.

The look on his face when the second goal went in off Oulare's arse was priceless.
Pure unadulterated joy.
Never my favourite player, but no-one could doubt his committment to the team.
He played his part in where we are today.

Great player is James O Connor with an even better engine.
Looks after his body well and is rarely out through injuries.
