We’ll be renewing our 4 straight away but I’m not sure the uptake will be quite as hot as previous seasons, a win vs Shampton and picking up a few more points before the deadline might give confidence.

Just phoned the ticket office in the hope that the family area had been reorganised into the new corner opening up a couple of extra blocks of premium seating in the DPD as had been suggested previously alas this is not happening. Can't understand why they aren't doing this as they would be able to sell those seats for more money, typical half witted too much trouble Stoke administration.

If they haven't the marketing team should just be sacked and replaced by a crack team of chimpanzees who would do a far better job.....

Just out of intrest I’m season ticket holder in the family stand block 32. Why do you think we should move to accommodate you? when I’ve/we’ve had season ticket in there before the premiership years. Can’t understand how that would be right?

It’s a top deal whatever happens and as ever the club can only be commended in this area. Interesting to see that the games we play during the early bird window are Man City, Everton, Arsenal and Spurs! That could knock the stuffing out of a few who are 50/50!

Or it will dramatically increase the take up if we do well in those games

Can’t understand how that would be right? So have I and my family when my Son was young enough. The reason is that the family area consists of a large proportion of heavily discounted tickets yet occupies an area that can be marketed as premium seats and therefore as an area (two blocks closest to the halfway line) would produce significantly increased gate money. As you reckon you’ve been in there since before the Prem the kids must be approaching an age where you can’t stay in there much longer anyway. It’s nothing personal no doubt I’ll be back in the family stand myself when/if Grandkids come along but you can’t really argue for the most heavily discounted tickets hogging some of the best views available the equivalent of which are marketed and priced at a premium rate on the opposite side of the ground and the other side of the halfway line in the same stand.

Bar a spot on the SSN scroller the club don’t publicise enough in the wider football community about our pricing and free travel If Man City hold their prices by god we will know about it

Yes I understand where your coming from. I have big age gap in my kids. Daughter doesn’t come anymore she’s 19 now. I take my two lads 13 and 9. Before I took any kids I sat in block 30 but them days you could get seats anywhere. I’ve always said the best idea would be have family prices all over the ground and have no family end as such. At the end of the day we supposed to be a family club and everyone’s behaviour should be the same all over. There’s plenty of good ideas off fans, but don’t really think the club ever really takes on board unfortunately. Anyway I’m looking forward to see how many renew? If we go down I’ll struggle with night games with doing shifts, but still well worth the money.

Is this actually feasible?
Quote: What’s more, as many as 11,000 youngsters who have been a City 7s member this season (or in any of the past three years) will be entitled to watch all of next season’s league games free of charge if they are accompanied by an adult who purchases a Season Card for the family area.
I guess it's in the nuance of the language, i.e. entitlement doesn't translate to actual availability.
It almost reads to me like the club are saying we've got the space for 11,000 kids and one of their parents in the family area. Might have been advisable to say (subject to family area capacity restriction of x thousand).

If we go down I’ll struggle with night games with doing shifts, but still well worth the money. Yup I'll be renewing I can do the evening games no problem but don't actually like them especially in mid Winter haven't really enjoyed many games the last couple of seasons but at least it takes my mind off Winter a bit think I'd go doolally without going to the football. We discussed the idea of moving the family area down into the new corner and last block or two of the DPD on here last year and quite a few people seemed to think that's what the club had in mind. Seems a fairly fair and sensible idea for raising more money from the same number of seats. There are swings and roundabouts wherever you sit we sit at the back of the South Stand and its sheltered from the wind and you don't get Sun in your eyes (sometimes) like the DPD but I don't think you can beat a side on view of the game Q Railing is the other option but I like to be near the back and its a bit stuffy up the top of there tried it a couple of times, don't like it.
