We could play Crouch, but dont lump it up to him,he is good with his feet, so why not play to that strength? Because he moves slower than a night spent giving Anne Widdecombe cunnilingus. Thanks for that image 😂

Both teams are equally shit.
However, we have a sprinkling of haplessness too. Eg missing last minute penalties, throwing away leads, chucking own goals into our own net.
So Southampton will take the points here

We are in a catch 22. Play Diouf, lump it up. Play Crouch, lump it up. Play Berahino, lump it up. Southampton have a better overall squad than us. They'll be at home, so big advantage to them. Either way, I can see 0 points coming back to Stoke and seriously putting us in the grave. We are fucked. Play Shaq behind two strikers - then there's no need to lump it up. Probably won't happen, though.

Not one fan predicted a win on there. We can get at them. Seems to be a lot of fan unrest. Smash and Grab time That's a great plan, with one slight flaw: We're even more shite than they are.

I've considered this one upside down and inside out and try as i might I can't see beyond a regulation away defeat, probably 2-0.

When such a positive member as Gods, someone who always sees the brighter side of things, someone who always tells us how good we are, how good our players are, how shit everyone else is & how easily we can win... When he finally says he can't see us winning that's the final nail in the coffin for me.

I've considered this one upside down and inside out and try as i might I can't see beyond a regulation away defeat, probably 2-0. I don't see it that way meself, Gods. Lambert has definitely improved us defensively. Barring any more cock ups from our players I don't see Southampton being able to cut through our defence. We neutralised Leicester very well last week until Jack gave them a goal and I don't think Southampton's forward line is anywhere near as dangerous as Vardy et al. Unfortunately our own forward line is just as useless so we may not score either but I can see us coming away with at least a point. That, in itself, may not be good enough in the wider scheme of things but I can see us scraping a draw or perhaps two in the, so called, tougher games.

Single points in these away games will just about keep us going, but then put far greater emphasis on winning the homes games against Everton, Burnley and Palace.

I'd gladly take a point, people seem blinkered as to just how few points we get on the road. I think I am right in saying we have only won 2 away games in each of the last 2 calendar years! I'd be willing to donate a minor digit, perhaps a toe, if it meant we got one!

Who gives a toss on their views, we both are desperate for the points and Saturday is massive. I think we are 4 wins away from safety and a win Saturday will be a massive step towards it or we need to win 2-3 home games or we are stuffed. Think we will sneak it 0-1 😉

They seem worried about Crouch too and are relieved that he is a doubt. It's odd in life how differently others see you to how you see yourself. Crouch has scored winners there for us a couple of times hasn't he ? I see the usual comments from a couple on there, we have a few big lumps, and Stoke will hoof, hoof, hoof That's what we do.

I think I'd have to start questioning Lambert's ability if he can't get anything out of this. Dear oh dear

If I have got it incredibly wrong, and we lose this one, I think we are fucked. I just think that Shaqiri, Allen, Badou and maybe Bauer will step up when needed.

I had it down for a draw a couple of weeks ago but now i'm in for the win. That is because the attitude seems right. Think we have left ourselves too much to do with games coming up but yeah. Win this mate and it's all to play for.

Sod it, 3-1 Stoke with 2 late goals, I'm not overly confident but its to depressing thinking about a loss.

Sod it, 3-1 Stoke with 2 late goals, I'm not overly confident but its to depressing thinking about a loss. This is where we start to click, Bos. It's all going to just come together. Allen and Badou will win the midfield battle, ably supported by Cameron. Shaqiri, who has really stepped up, will pull the strings and our full backs will be a threat going forward. Our centre backs will be utterly dominant, too. I almost feel sorry for Southampton. They are in for a mauling the likes of which teams rarely recover from.
