If 5 means there’s an even chance of staying up or going down I’d say we’re at about 3, or maybe a few tenths below that.
I’ve seen enough from lambert now to know we’re going to be much harder to beat, but as much as that helps we are unfortunate to find ourselves in the predicament of needing several huge wins. We may even need to sneak a win in one of the three upcoming games against elite clubs.
Come the end of the season, Adam’s horrific follow up to the missed penalty, and Butland’s fumble yesterday will probably turn out to be moments that, worst comes to worse, may very well haunt us for another quarter of a century.
