Never used a VPN. In a nutshell can someone tell me what it does, and how it works, and recommend a good one. Needing to get on William Hill and SKYBET, but both blocked here, will a VPN get around that...

If you're needing to get onto a UK based betting site a VPN will work until you type in an address from Thailand. And unless you have UK based credit or debit card you will be rejected.

Doesn't the Tor bowser do the same thing? Tor Browser is used to explore the Dark web. Most people use a VPN while they also use Tor for extra security. There's some messed up shit on there. Most people though will usually buy drugs etc etc from it.

The Tor browser might give access to the dark web, but that does not mean you have to go there, it functions like a normal but slow browser for the web.

Yes but why on earth would you use Tor for Torrents? When there's loads of different other browsers that are quicker and safer IMO.

Which they 100% should.

In Lebanon everyone used Bet 365 funnily enough. Something to do with the wording in the url which the networks didn't/couldn't pick up was a gambling app. No need for VPN's.
I've used Hola VPN which is free and worked well.
