Yes, he went down like he was shot - as he usually does. But he WAS fouled as the defender stuck his leg out, impeded Ali and did not win the ball - a foul every day of the week. If I were the ref I would have given the penalty and then give Ali a yellow for his OTT dive. Impeded him my backside. How the fuck do you go down like that. Was there a tripwire in the area?

He was fouled. Diving is cheating and annoying but killing the game? Come on. It is for me. I find it unwatchable at times. I don’t see how it’s killing it any more than shirt pulling at corners. Is it because it’s a less manly form of cheating?

How the fuck do you go down like that. Was there a tripwire in the area? You wouldn't. Your thigh being brushed doesn't lead to your knees buckling. Diving fuck.

What a fucking save that was. And now Delph given a straight red right on half time. Loads of touchline and tunnel shenanigans ensue.

Fair play to Wigan so far they've been outstanding and it's about time clubs showed Man City no respect and got stuck in

Guardiola is an absolute prick. Gets away with absolute murder. Tosser. Dead right. I can't do with him. Another "genius" who spends hundreds of millions and wants everything his way. Tired of the Man. City wankfest already.

How would he do at Stoke with the money he would allowed I wonder? Same goes for all these so called big spenders, sorry I meant big managers.

Wigan - Rochdale final anyone? Now there's two teams who would want to win it for the prestige, as opposed to seeing it as a back door into Europe or, worse, being indifferent to it

I gave up my season ticket a number of years ago due to this ‘premier league experience’ which to me was just 90 minutes of our players being made to look like they were commiting murder by the diving, play acting sly bastards in this league. Personally let the money grabbing big clubs fuck off and let us have our game back imho

It’s unedifying but for me Football is too brilliant for something like that to ruin it for me. It’s always gone on. I don’t see it as especially worse than any other form of cheating. What’s really killing it is the growing chasm between the haves and the have nots and the idea we’re supposed to clap like seals and be enraptured by a team with an enormous financial advantage scoring four or five every week. Money and the lack of competition is what’s really done for it.

Yes like they fixed our draw against Coventry. We're not a big club. Our balls are always room temperature.

He’ll learn more about English football the longer he’s here.
