Same last round when all the premier league teams were kept apart bar the one tie that was inevitable due to number of prem teams left. Fix

I never know if this is an 'in joke' or if there are people who genuinely think the FA are quietly and knowingly fixing the FA Cup draw? I mean it can't be the latter and yet the absence of any irony or emoji's in some of the posts give me cause for some concern

Like the media darling thing as well. Bournemouth and brighton for instance, i've heard them called that many times on here but yet never seen or heard any evidence of it. I think it's northern paranoia.

If you are looking for corruption then look no further than the carabao quarter final draw. Draw done by the sponsors whose interest would be to maximise viewing figures, The draw done in some dark room in Thailand and tweeted. No surprise all 4 top 6 clubs kept apart. At least the FA broadcast the draw.

Hopefully the fa cup could be an unwelcome distraction for our relegation rivals
Injuries and suspensions could just swing in our favour
Here's hoping as I think we need all the help we can get!

Watch the draw back and you can detect the odd grimace.

I very much doubt it's rigged. More likely that, because big clubs on average go deeper in the cup, it creates the illusion that this sort of stuff happens all the time when in reality these sort of "rigged" draws are just more likely to occur. Nobody bats an eyelid in the occasional years where the final four contains one or no elite clubs, like the year Portsmouth won it and there were three 2nd tier sides in the semis.

How long ago is that ? The best part of a decade ago. To be honest though mate, if you're going to subscribe to the theory that the cup draw is rigged then you're going to need some fairly extraordinary evidence. I'm sorry to tell you this, but your gut feeling is most likely betraying you.

Which is why some managers are daft to degrade cups.

It is meant to keep interest alive and to continue to increase tv audiences. So in actual fact the FA rigs things for its own benefit, for the sake of the only value it beleives in - MONEY

This year all the big clubs have managed to avoid each other in all draws of both cups right up to the quarter final stages
You know what are the odds of that happening if the ties were made fairly ?
