What's sad is it is becoming increasingly obvious that unless you join in the profligate waste you perhaps won't stay in the league that rewards the sin he exposes.

George Best never needed all weather football pitches. Jumpers for goal posts. Muddy pitches toughen them up. You can't go giving money away to grass roots. The McLaren garage in Knutsford will have to close down.

I'm seeing some suggestions but i'm not seeing any realistic solution.
It needs one badly though!!!
How did we get to this stage with agents?
and why cant the agents be paid from player's salaries exclusively?

The irony is jumpers on the ground is probably why Best was such a great player Harry redknapp claimed Best was one of the hardest players he ever saw, and could ride tackles that would have cut himself in half and sent him straight to the treatment room when he played on the wing for west ham Jamie carragher said after watching englands defeat to iceland... We are seeing the fruition of the club academy system. A system that prizes technique and produces babys not men. They are both right

Take from the rich. Give to the poor! They eat off the fat of the land. Make em pay for it. Too much greed! End of!

No one in football really believes that trickle down economics works, do they?

Sadly I suspect that agent's fees and demands scupper quite a few of our (and similar clubs) deals. We can only hope that a complete copy of the paperwork & payment details goes to the tax authorities in every country that might need to know.

Try and change it and the happy clappers are clamouring for the little snowflakes to be given a free ride

Thought I might have to get Cottage Street garage to do it. Luckily found out they have moved up the road to Handforth. Just next door to where Charlie gets his helicopter serviced.

I picked up on Winters comment on discounted entry for 18-22 year olds. Burton Albion do precisely this (young persons discount). I’m baffled why student discount prevails (mainly the offsprings of the middle class, many who aren’t local to the area and have no affinity to SCFC) and not implementing a young persons discount that will draw in local, working class kids. I’m sure this would appeal to PC’s socialist instincts.
