I can't be upset at a player that wants to repay us by scoring a vital penalty, though he should have realised his position ad a father, fanny antics should be long behind him.
I can't even blame Charlie for missing. It was the race to the follow-up that's unforgivable. Least he's kept his head down and not come out with some empty platitude on Twitter.

It should have been sorted before they even kicked a bloody ball by designating the penalty takers. We might even have taken the points

Macari spot-on in my opinion. Disgraceful antics from a professional footballer.

Liam Lawrence’s comments on Radio Stoke after the game were interesting also with him saying he would have sorted Jese out if he’d have been in the same dressing room

I can't believe he's still at the club. I seriously would have bombed him out there and then. Shithouse antics like that can be the difference between everyone pulling together and completely ripping the dressing room apart.
Seriously Stoke, get him gone.

Jese obviously thought differently after he left Jese behaved like a complete tosser and could have had no complaints if one of his team mates had stuck one on him in the dressing room.

There is enough pressure on the penalty taker at that stage, then one of your own players does a hissy which delayed the taking, plus most proberly put more pressure on the taker.

In that case Berahino also should have been "bombed out", because he also took his - missed - penalty against team wishes.

Shawcross got it spot on in his post match interview for the BBC he called Jese "childish". Im surprised more people haven't commented on this as I think its significant in how the rest of the squad may feel about him.

Berahino grabbed the ball for his penalty. No one tried to stop him or talk him out of it. I get the feeling if Jesé has grabbed the ball on Saturday then the same thing would have applied.
If Jesé had put as much effort into grabbing the ball as he did into disrupting the taker we might have been OK, as we would have been if Charlie had moved as quick to get the rebound as he did to grab the ball in the first place.

We’d do well to have Lou involved imo. He fucked off from us twice. Wow. 1st time he left. We were a mid table run of the mill 2nd division Club, and the club he supported and played for (over 100 appearances and 50 + goals) asked him to be their manager. So if you call that fucking off, then wow.

Frankly I couldn't give much of a toss about Jese having a tantrum. Big deal, it will be sorted out behind the scenes one way or another.
The biggest issue here is Adam missing both the penalty and the rebound. You can say players miss penalties all you like but frankly its unforgiveable for me, you fucking well score that penalty at all costs if you want to stay up. And if Jese mucking about "affected" him then he shouldn't be taking penalties in the first place as the keeper and opposition will have tried much worse to put him off.
That will be the point we all remember if we do go down, Jese's histrionics will be nothing but a footnote.
